Excellent Headphones worthy of consideration
The HD 280 pro's have a nice quality feel, and balanced non-fatiguing sound. I'm reading about these other people rating these headphones as trash, they are anything but! .... Of course they have their take, and I'm sharing mine. I am also a professional studio musician, like the other recent reviewer. In contrast to what he mentioned, being to flat! That is the intent for their design, to be accurate in presentation for all frequencies. Not for overly accentuated frequencies, making a mix sound inaccurate. As a percussionist, I love bass too, but not at a cost of sacrificing a well balanced studio mixed recording. Granted, they will never sound like a set of Meze Elite Aluminum headphones, but they also don't cost $4K. What they do provide is excellent value for the money. As far as the chord, I had no problem what so ever, a non factor. I've used this model for years, it's reliable, accurate at a price that is more than reasonable. I liked them so much, I personally went the extra mile of purchasing the VOARMAKS Leather Replacement Ear Pads, which is available on Amazon as well. They compliment the HD 280 pro's even more. They also improve the sound too. It's subtle, but the soundstage seems to be larger, and the presence is clearer IMO. Nothing subtle about the improvement in comfort, and larger, fitting over the ear nicely versus the stock ones. Installation is easy as well. To me it's a no brainer to purchase in addition. In Summary, Everyone has their own take, mine personally, the HD-280 Pro's is no doubt, a worthy of purchase! For $85 especially!

High quality studio grade headphones.
Item is as described. Quick delivery. These are, without a doubt, the best sounding headphones I have ever used. they completely surround the ear, blocking out all extraneous noise. There is no lost signal strength and all frequencies are audible. I highly recommend these headphones for all practicing musicians.

These should meet most musical needs at a good price.
Just got these in. Large headphones. Very sturdy, well built. One of the best things about them is that the ear muffs are large and comfortable. I can listen to music for hours without my head nor ears feeling tired. Plus the head band part is also well cushioned. And you can adjust the headband on both sides to ensure a snug fit. Regarding a snug fit, these are total enclosure phones, with no leakage. So don't plan on hearing your phone ring, nor others talking to you while wearing these (unless you are not listening to anything, maybe). Now, regarding sound, I listen to Fleetwood Mac and Chuck Berry. I just use these phones for listening to music only. These headphones are super sensitive to the high frequencies. If you listen to music with them, you will prob need a DAQ or equalizer to bring down the high frequencies. Otherwise, the music might sound too shrill or tinny. I run the base and mid range level across even. But at 1k, I drop the high freqs way down In a slope. The phones sound great then. Very clear. Nice bass and midrange. (And of course treble). A couple of other things: Watch out for listening to these phones at too high volume. You might not even notice, esp the high frequencies. Lastly, the price is right. I see no need to spend more $ for a real nice set of headphones. You can buy replacement ear muffs on Amazon, too. Some say that the replacements make the phones sound even better. Highly recommended.

Excellent Sound Quality and Top-Notch Sound Isolation
I needed a pair of headphones with strong passive noise isolation. I was originally going to get this over a year ago, and now I finally did. I'm glad to say that I don't regret buying them, because they sound so good and yet deliver sound isolation that comes close to a pair of ear defenders. I've seen mixed reviews about the 280 Pro's sound quality for personal use, but the sound seems to work out well for me. Despite wearing glasses, the subbass doesn't seem to roll off at all, which helps up for the slightly underemphasized midbass. Pretty much anything that doesn't rely heavily on midbass is going to sound amazing on these headphones. Music that is midbass heavy will sound a bit dull without using EQ. The mids sound fantastic, and so does the treble. The treble is slightly underemphasized from 2k to 8k, which helps reduce harshness, but doesn't sacrifice any clarity at all. Soundstage is very good for a closed-back headphones, and imaging is spectacular to say the least. Comfort-wise, I find them very comfortable to use for hours at a time. I feared they might be a little too clampy at first, but that doesn't seem to be an issue for me. Sound isolation is second to none among the headphones I have. It even outperforms the Koss Pro4S in sound isolation. Both measure similarly in sound isolation from InnerFidelity's measurements, but from personal experience, the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro beats the Koss Pro4S quite a bit in sound isolation. These come so close to ear defenders in sound isolation that it isn't funny. The outstanding sound isolation ensures that you can listen to your music while cutting down external noise to a dull roar if not blocked out entirely. Sound leakage is almost nonexistent. The coiled cable is permanently attached, which isn't too much of a deal for what I use them for, but it certainly is going to make it awkward to use while taking walks or going out in public. I still have my Koss Pro4S, which I use for those purposes anyway, so the Sennheisers stay at home. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro. Sure, if the midbass was at the same level as the subbass, it would make these headphones more fun to listen to, but I'm not going to complain given their outstanding imaging, soundstage, and clarity and lack of major peaks and dips in frequency. 9/10 for sound quality, 10/10 for sound isolation, imaging, clarity and soundstage (by closed-back standards).

After a lot of research & comparisons with Studio Monitoring Headphones in this league, both price wise & functionality wise, between the Audio Technica ATH-M20x or 30x (a popular & formidable product) & the Sony MDR7506 (classic & iconic studio headphones), what finally made the choice for me was a super discounted deal on amazon for these Sennheiser HD280 Pro headphones! At 6.5k, they are way more than a steal. First impression, right as you open the box packaging, is of a premium, well built & heavy duty pair of studio headphones. Box contains the headphones, which come with an attached output cord in a 3.5mm Jack with a 6.5mm adapter & a Safety Instruction guide, that’s it . . . No muss, No Fuss! The cord length provided is just perfect for my usage. These headphones are primarily going to be used for Video & Audio editing on a Macbook Pro, for 4K & Dolby Vision content, so the max distance is usually a standard desktop or office table setup, so the cord length is sufficient. Overall, build & touch n feel quality is off the charts, especially considering the price & the other options available in the same price/features segment. As soon as you pick up the headphones, you know you’ve picked up a premium brand. Finally, the sound quality, is by far the best I’ve experienced till date on any “over the ear”headphones, which were bought for personal use. The audio levels are crisp & clean, totally studio quality. The Noise Cancellation feature is highly effective & makes tuning out from the world, when editing a music video, a cakewalk. Despite looking like heavy duty headphones, these are fairly lightweight & haven’t caused any major issues after a few hours of usage. The cup size is nice & large enough to cover an entire average sized ear. The only caveat so far is the shape of the overhead band, which is way too wide, especially on a bald narrow head, so they may look a bit funny, but it is an extremely small nit-picky thing in what is otherwise an exceptionally fantastic piece of audio equipment. Although it is just the first day of use, the purpose & functionality of the headphones has been a 10/10 for the sound quality, on all audio trials & tests so far. Whether you’re looking for a pair of headphones for professional audio recording/mixing/engineering work or just to plug into your home device & hear crisp, clean & balanced sound, these HD280 PROs are absolutely perfect. Extremely impressed & happy with the purchase. Two Thumbs Up!

Her şey güzel ama kablosu sarmal olduğundan ağırlık yapıyor.
