Don't let the bad reviews scare you away from buying this wallet
Don't let the bad reviews scare you away from buying this wallet. You cant please everyone. This could have been made by Christ himself to perfection, there will always be someone who doesn't like it. Now that's out of the way.Great wallet. I get compliments every-time i use it. There is a warning inside the box that lets you know to not use cards without a chip. The magnets will wipe your card if you do try. All of my cards have chips. I have 2 that don't paypal and bluebird. I only use those to transfer money to people anyhow so i just keep them in my car.The material wasn't what I expected. From the pictures it looks like real carbon fiber that is textured to the touch. Its not at all like that. Its a flat smooth surface, The pattern does however "dance" when changing viewing angles. Almost hologram-like. Looks cool, just not real carbon fiber. Its like a plastic type of material. Feels like something that would be used on the interior of a car. Does not feel like it will break. All of my cards fit perfectly in the slots. they don't slide out or get lose.I did buy the money clip. Don't expect to be carrying hundreds of dollars in this thing. It can fit about 7 bills comfortably. anymore than that will make it a little difficult to fold out, but it will close with 8 or 9 bills in there. If your the type of dude that will carry everything in his wallet...license, tons of credit cards, tons of store cards, tons of cash, scan cards, business cards. This thing isn't for you man. This is more for the minimalist.I personally carry 6 cards, one of which is a license. And I always have at least 50 dollars cash on me. I think the people that are upset with their purchase are impulse buyers. Read the descriptions and then read the reviews before you commit and write bad review that deter people that would really like this thing. I read these reviews and almost didn't buy the thing. I ended up checking out some video reviews that convinced me it was a solid buy. Hope that helps some of you that are on the fence.

Stealth, Slim, Simple...Can't go wrong with this one
All i gotta say is that the Pitaka is an excellent choice if you just want to simply get rid of your bulky wallet. The precision machined carbon fiber is top notch.I normally don't write any reviews but I would simply rate a product, however, I felt the need to simply because their customer services are awesome because they do stand behind their product. Ivy from Pitaka had reached out to me several time just to make sure that I am happy with their product. She also help answer any questions that I have. You can't ask for better customer services than that folks. That by it self make me very confident in recommending this product to my friends and I feel great having this great little wallet. One quick flip and I have access to my Credit card. The RFID casing helps keep your important credit card information from Electronic Thieves as well. Can't wait til the Pitaka Money Clip comes out. That would be a great addition to the already elegant design.

Best wallet I’ve ever owned
I’ve had this wallet since May of 2018 and I still use it everyday to this day. The only thing that’s faded is the logo of the wallet. The magnets have accumulated some dirt over the years as well as a decent amount of wear but they still snap just as well as the day I bought it. I personally love this wallet and get asked about it frequently. It’s a good conversation starter that’s for sure. The durability has been amazing. I grew very tired of changing out my wallet once every 6-8 months and this thing has stood the test of time. Not disappointed in my purchase whatsoever and I recommend this product whole heartedly!

Awesome and "scary" at the same time
I love the idea of "modular" wallets. I also like carbon fiber or at least the look of carbon fiber. This fits both. It is sturdy so my cards are not destroyed over time, it is lightweight, and I get a lot of comments on it. It is easy to use also. It doesn't hold much with the default configuration (6 cards without double stacking which I highly recommend not doing). I am getting 2 other modules soon, so I will be able to see how they work out. The biggest drawbacks for me were: (1) This wallet uses magnets, and as such can de-magnetize the magnetic strip on the back of cards. This is the scary part for me. I don't enjoy the frustrated looks and sighs of the vendors when the card doesn't swipe. I also don't enjoy having to reorder and wait for a replacement card to show up. I did experience this with one of my cards. I have been much more careful when using the cards to prevent this going forward and so far after about 1 month, I haven't had any more cards de-magnetize. When I wrote support, they informed me they were making a new wallet that would correct this issue. I kind of feel given that I was not informed of the issue, and the inconvenience I have had, give the price of this wallet, I should be offered a complimentary "new model" wallet, but figure that is probably wishful thinking. (2) The modules and the wallet itself was completely unavailable for quite some time after my purchase. Had I wanted to purchase a second one or some modules for mine, it wasn't going to happen. After writing support, they informed me the modules were available again for purchase on both their website and amazon. I was able to locate them now and did purchase the modules.Overall, I really like this wallet. I do wish I was informed it has the possibility of demagnetizing credit cards, and the lack of availability was frustrating. I do use this wallet daily and will continue to do so, The features, for me anyway, outweigh the issues I have encountered so far.
