I purchased this for a family member, who, although not in need of a bedside commode currently, has been in need of one in the past and likely will be again in the future. Her nighttime unsteadiness combined with an unstable commode made for worrisome trips to the bathroom. Now when the time comes that she needs the portable commode again, she'll have this support cane to help keep her stable. Offers me great piece of mind knowing she'll have it on hand. Wonderful product!

This product works exactly as described. What a relief that it stabilizes the commode chair so falling is no longer a threat

But their is nothing wrong with this cane. He says he doesn't want it and isn't going to use it. Luckily, I have quite few canes around the house. This will be great for those who use the bedside commode. We have one, but he hasn't had to use it since his knees were redone, but he still has issues. This is going to go to the donation box for someone who can appreciate a little help getting in or out of a portable commode.
