I got this Spider-Man-themed knee pad, elbow pad, and gloves set for my son as a Christmas gift, and he absolutely loves it! These are cute and decent priced. Unfortunately they did not protect my lil guys elbows when he fell off his bike (learning to ride with no training wheels). His elbow was bruised for a couple weeks. You get what you pay for, so I recommend spending a little more for something of a better quality of that's what you are planning to do. They would work well for scooters or something that wouldn't really need a better protection.
