These footed dessert dishes match my stemware, so I was very glad to find them. The dishes are heavyweight glass with the classic Godinger design, so they match perfectly. Although they are a bit large for a serving of ice cream alone, they would work very well for cake and ice cream together. I also used them for serving mixed fruit. They look very elegant on the table or displayed with my stemware. The design is very crisp and clean, and these hold up well in the dishwasher. I have been using these for over 2 years with no chips, cracks or breaks. I periodically soak all of my glassware in white vinegar, which keeps them nice and clear with no cloudy soap residue, but that has not been an issue with these.
