Motorcraft KM4351 Upper Radiator Hose

Upper hose is great to go around the belt ford 7.3

I replaced this hose on my 2000 F350 Super Duty with the 7.3 liter Powerstroke that had 300,000 miles on it with the ORIGINAL hoses and belt still on it. Since I had such excellent luck with those parts I bought all the factory parts again for it. All went on seamlessly and had zero problems with any of it. I could have save a couple of bucks and went with some other parts but these were so reasonably priced and such high quality that I was happy to go OEM again. As good as the quality is my actual favorite thing about this hose is that the clamps on it are glued to the hose in exactly the right place and are self tensioning. Just put the hose on and pop the clamp loose from itself and you have an expertly installed hose. American Made too.

Ford makes money on parts. The standard water hose is routed THROUGH the serpentine belt, making its removal necessary (loss of coolant) to replace the belt. I bought this FORD replacement hose that routs around the belt. This is much better than what Ford put on the truck when new. AND, they knew it was a bad part because the routing of the replacement hose is seen IN the accommodating design of the alternator mount. Bad Ford. I like Ford trucks anyway. Buy this.

This is the way the truck should have come, single or dual alternator.

2000 7.3 Excursion. Fit great. Great improvement over the stock one that ran through the middle of the belt. Highly recommend.
