Must have for anyone with children! This book has a beautiful and important message, and it’s beautifully illustrated as well. It’s never too early to talk to your children about gratitude and model it as well. I love that Ms. Ortego’s books talk about practical applications at the end too.

I have returned many books purchased for a precocious 5-year-old girl because, while most of the books (carefully selected based on reviews) are beautifully illustrated, the stories are some combination of dull, plotless or surprisingly nearly pointless. This was exceptionally well-written, inspirational. I will pass this one on to the intended recipient with sincere thanks for everyone involved.
