Cute, tiny, loud - I love this thing
What a delightfully lovely surprise this little acorn is! It pairs flawlessly with my phone, holds a charge for a long time, and has a nice, loud volume for such a tiny thing. The sound quality is tinny of course but for what it is, this little gadget can’t be beat. I use it mostly for listening to podcasts while driving, and it does the job perfectly. I haven’t used it for phone calls, and for listening to music, well, if I’m in the mood for an old-timey transistor radio feel it’s perfect for that too! Otherwise, it’s not my go-to gadget for music, but I don’t even care, I keep this in my bag always because it’s portable and gets the job done. And c’mon people, it’s made to LOOK LIKE AN ACORN CARVED OUT OF WOOD! I mean, so cute. So so very cute. (Spoiler alert: not real wood!)

It sounds like a great idea to buy
First Impressions: When you open the box, you'll notice how heavy the speaker is. The construction is precise and not cheap. It comes with a small saucer shaped case which is bigger than the speaker itself. The speaker is cylindrical. The case has small holes in the top so you can use it as a travel case. After charging the speaker, I pressed the only button I could see and it powered up. When it starts up it plays a pleasant cord. Immediately it showed in my connection list on my iphone. Connecting was quick and painless.Sound Quality: 5 STARS. This thing is small, heavy and inexpensive. The weight must be the magnet they are using. The sound quality compare very well to speakers costing 5 times as much. Why, because it's not producing muddy base. The base is still there, but it's not trying to produce the lows by creating a muddy base sound. Most of the portable speakers I've seen in the $50 range create a muddy base. This speaker's base radiator complements the mid's and high's very well. Overall you get a clearer crisp sound that doesn't go so low, but produces a smooth clear range.Who's it for? People who travel and want great sounding music in their hotel room. It's the perfect size to take on a trip and have music in your room.

Good speaker for the price point - usability could be better
This is a fantastic little speaker for what it costs. Battery life is 4-6 hours depending on volume. In my experience it sounds better sitting on a surface, but the light weight and convenient strap for hanging makes this a great speaker for camping or travel. Lower sound doesn't come through too well due to the size, but for the most part my music was still enjoyable with this product. My only complaints were with the power on/power of/low battery indicator sounds. They all occur at one default volume: way too loud. There's already a light to indicate on/off, so the tone isn't super necessary. When the battery gets low the speaker beeps at full volume every 30 seconds until you turn it off. Rather than ruining the listening experience in that low battery phase why not just let the speaker die? Or beep once, at he current volume? All the high volume indicators meant I was having to turn the thing on and off while it was buried in a pillow or stuffed in a pocket to try to dampen the sound, and on multiple occasions the low battery tone startled me because it was so much louder than the music I was listening to.But again, you get what you pay for. I don't expect to get perfect UX on a product I spent less than $15 on. It plays my music and that's about all I can ask for.

Puts out some great sound! Plus so cuuuute!!
This little CUTIE is AWESOME! I just ordered 6 more for gifts! It would never not be a great gift !! It’s darling.. and the sound ( including bass) is so surprising! I can’t wait to hang in my Christmas tree with music playing! Volume control comes from your phone .. not on the nut. I havnt charged yet.. I’m thinking I’ll wire u charger in my tree so always charged… but will see how long a charge lasts first. It came with a nice charge to listen toImmediately. I’d say this seems like a gift that will make anyone smile .. it’s a cute lil nut that puts out a surprising sound for under 20 bucks!!

Small, convenient, and cute!
I love this speaker! My car stereo died, but I love my music in the car, so I hung this little acorn around my rearview mirror. It isn't perfect, but it does a good job, and has withstood the heat and cold in my car very well. It doesn't get super loud, and doesn't have a great bass, which are expected for a speaker this small.

Great product exceeded expectations
I wanted a Bluetooth speaker that not only played sound but had an interesting look to it as well. This little acorn fits perfectly with my eclectic backpack pictured in this review. I didn't expect the sound quality to be great, but it is amazingly loud, like a dance party in my office loud. It is super easy to sync with my iPhone and keeps a long battery life. Most of all I find that it is super durable. As mentioned it hangs on my backpack which gets knocked about and thrown in my car. The speaker has held up perfectly. I super recommend this product, it is adorable, portable, and great quality. I actually had to buy a second one for mt Dad because he was jealous of mine ; b

Super cute, does the job
Needed a bluetooth speaker for the car for podcasts. This does the job pretty well. Perhaps it has great sound for music, but I found podcast speech to be a bit too much on the high end. If it were louder and more balanced for speech for podcasts, and a good mic for phone calls, it would be the perfect in-car bluetooth speaker.Pros:- super cute- nice materials- easy connection and charging- great battery lifeCons:- not as loud as I hoped- when windows are open, I can't hear anything- audio is a little tinny (annoying spikes in the high end for speech, especially with "ess" sounds)- no mic (or at least no-one can hear me well during a phone call)
