Really disappointed. Runs 2 sizes small
I am 5,7 185 pounds and according to the size chart I should be a size large. Definitely not the case. Ordered L and XL. Both too small and too short. I paid for express shipping and it arrived late. I did that so I would have time to reorder if needed. Now I won’t have hiking pants for my trip. I’m sorry but do better Amazon. I’ll update this review if I’m able to get a pair that fits. You pissed me off and that’s hard to do

Hold up well
I was jealous of my husband having pants that could be unzipped into shorts so I went on the hunt. When I found these I didn’t expect a lot for the price. I was pleasantly surprised. They are a little tight in some areas but I do have thunder thighs. I have wore them on numerous hikes and they have went through many washes. I have truly tested them with wide climbs, rocky falls and river walks. They have lasted through it all and still look great. They even lasted when I decided to Dora the explorer off the trail and took a bad fall and had to crawl back to the truck. I will not be adventuring on dangerous paths anymore but I will continue to wear these pants. Haven’t had the chance to wear the shorts but I’m sure they will work out just as well.

Clingy but good for hot weather
I found the fit a bit weird, bunched over the hips, and a little short (I usually take 30-31 inch inseam, these hover just a bit higher than I’m used to in XL/14.)The fabric is soft and pleasantly stretchy, dries quickly.I don’t like the recent trend to stretchy mesh pocket linings! These stick to the Velcro pocket flaps and pull inside out every time I get something out of the pocket, also very easy to poke holes through with keys. I might be crazy, but keys and pens are very common things to put in pants pockets. The belt is incredibly flimsy, always getting twisted around and needing to be re-aligned to let the snap/buckle re-fasten. All in all, mediocre design, I have cheaper hiking pants that feel and function better. Also not available in the dark sage green color that I like in outdoor gear.

too small
i bought an xl, didn't realize i gained that much weight. i wear a womans 16 stretch jean, maybe 18 if i want baggy-i couldn't even close these. i couldn't figure out how to open the belt-i think the clasp was decorative and all i could do was loosen enough that i could step in. pants looked great-i wished they did fit

comfortable, stylish, breathable
I’m 5’6, 178lbs with a 34’ waist and big thighs- I got an XL. These fit comfortably on my waist, have a bit of stretch, and the belt is the perfect size. Though the pants are a bit snugger on my thighs and butt, I can still bend and crouch down and not feel constricted. These pants have tons of stretch, are lightweight, and don’t make that annoying rubbing sound when you walk. I bought these for archeological fieldwork, and I’ll update when that’s done with on how they stand up to cacti, heat, water, constant wear, etc…Update: pants survived cacti, countless encounters with thorny plants, as well as a tumble into some rough gravel- with 0 rips. They also dried quickly and kept me cool. 10/10!
