The variety of collar sizes came in handy. I wasn't sure which of the two larger ones I would need and it happened to be the largest. Parts of the lamp shown were glued and I had to separate them to use the Harp. You should have some experience with assembling electrical parts in that case. Most lamps will accept the harp without the need for experience. It should take only minutes.

I was reticent to buy this because some reviews were negative, but it seemed to meet my needs, so I did. I was quite pleased. It was simple to put together, fit perfectly (had different options), is sturdy and well made. Not sure what people were expecting for the price.

Worked perfectly for an oddly shaped lamp with a broken European shade base & it came with several adapters to fit other lamps if needed. Only complaint is that I wish it had more color/finish options.

This is well worth the money. Easy to increase or decrease the height and looks nice. I'm super happy!

These harps are such poor quality.... especially at $15 a piece. I ordered 2 and had problem with one. At top of one side it was crimped to tight not allowing the inside rod to turn for adjustment. I was able to get it back where it needed to be but when I finally got the rod loose I noticed it was completely rusted. Yes, these will work and keep your shade up. Worth $15 a piece?..... no way.

Bracket was slightly bent, but it worked out ok.

I had a lamp with a threaded uno fitting. Unfortunately, the shade was damaged in a move and I couldn’t find one in the same style that I liked. This harp holder adjustment allows me to convert to a shade with a spider fitting, giving me a much larger pool of shades to choose from. It can fit wide or narrow bases and adjusts up and down for various shade heights. Fantastic product!

It’s made well but can be a lil frustrating getting the harp into the thingie on the lamp. But it’s probably a lil if my fault due to my small hands and lack of strength due to arthritis. Another hand would have been helpful. But I persevered . Once I figured it out it was a breeze. I like the fact that it’s adjustable . Takes the anxiety away from measuring and hoping you took the right measurements. I’d buy it again.

Needed a taller harp for my lamp, this was the largest I could find. It adjusts to several positions which is useful, however pays for that by being somewhat wobbly. Once it is on and the shade fitted it looks great, but not overly sturdy. Provided you aren't constantly moving the lamp it is fine.
