Definitely not an authentic piece — cheap knockoff at best. The idea of a manageable Le Creuset piece (from a size and weight perspective) soon leads down the path of a realization that the dish is a complete fake. First attempt at cleaning and a 3 inch drop from my soapy hand to the bottom of the stainless sink annahilated the handle (zero hyperbole). We have literally thrown true Le Creuset pots from burner to basin without so much as a scratch. Save your money and yourself the frustration of purchasing this junk and invest in a gym membership. That way, when you buy the real thing, you’ll have the biceps to lift it!

The name and the price of a Le Creuset product is unquestionable…until now. The only thing my daughter asked for, for Christmas, was this dish. Covid struck our family repeatedly since 12/21 and we just had our Christmas today. I was heartbroken for her when she opened up this and it most certainly IS NOT the size we expected. Beware….the measurements include the OUTSIDE of the dish….it was a mere mini casserole dish and I couldn’t get past her expression of disappointment! I have purchased items from this company for my daughter and daughter-in-law and this is the first that I’m SORRY I bought it - what a joke…the size stated is NOT what this dish is!

I bought this as a gift and I’m very glad I made this purchase. I was nervous about it breaking during shipping but it was SO well packaged. I was very impressed. I’m excited to gift it to my mom.

Great price for what we got. Bought it for my wife's birthday. Have been using it nonstop since.
