Revolution 17g Tennis String

I switched to this from hyper-G because it's six sided instead of four so it has more bite. I was sticking with hyper-G because I figured four teeth would have longer lasting bite than six because each "tooth" is thicker, but Solinco Revolution seems to retain its grip on the ball for as long as Hyper-G does so might as well buy the one with more bite.

I give it a four-star because I typically use hybrids. Seems like tennis strings from all different brands just keep getting better and better. This one in my opinion has a better feel than the light green Solinco. It's not a rough or Alu-type feel, but more of softer string with a little grab on the ball...compared to a standard round-shaped poly. Would need to try it 1OO% to be sure, but in a hybrid it plays comfortably from the start; no need to break it in. I like it...better than light green.

I’d recommend this for its power and slight spin. Tried Solinco Outlast before and I like this solinco revolution so far. Using this for 6 months now. Given the structure and no damage to string texture hoping this string would last longer.

I've tried most of the Solinco strings and usually came back to the original tour bite. Hyper-G is good, but like the tour bite, once it goes dead (usually around 5 or 6 matches) its terrible. The Revolution fits nicely between TB and HG and almost seems to get better the longer you leave them in which is strange. Easily get double the amount of matches out of these without worrying about breaking. String at 50lbs.

Not sure if it is normal but the string has kinks or creases every 5' or 6'. Don't know yet if it effects the life of the string but would like to talk to the manufacturer to see if this normal.

Currently my string of choice. Great ball grab for spin and enough power to control. Durability is about par for polyester. I play a heavy topspin groundstroke, kick serve, serve and volley type of game. This fits beautifully.

Great string. Very good price and lasts for a playing that plays everyday. My teenager upgraded from synthetic strings to this brand of polyester string and it has proved to be very good value for money and doesn't pop as frequently.

Tried it on my Pure Drive recently and really like the control and spin. My other favorites are Babolat RPM Blast and Volki Cyclone Tour and this one "feels" somewhat similar.
