This little dish is absolutely adorable!! I was looking for a cute little butter dish that is actually a croc with lid in case the butter gets a little melty (Phoenix problems). This is perfect! I’m so happy with it!! It easily fits a stick of East Coast butter if you cut it in half and place the halves side-by-side.

This is a really great item for certain things. The main thing I needed it for was small batches of garlic confit. It’s really sturdy and well made, looks beautiful, and will last forever if taken care of. Like other le creuset items, it has a ten year warranty. It can also be used as a nice looking gravy/sauce bowl when serving meals, or a sugar bowl, etc. Just keep in mind that it’s tiny and only able to be used for small things like that, don’t let photos fool you into thinking you’ve found a deal on a Dutch oven lol

Check the size!!! It’s very small - good for garlic roasting or other small ingredient things in the oven. It’s very cute but not what I wanted, but that’s on me for not reading the size!

I use this crock all the time to make garlic butter sauce. It's great to store small portions of grated parmesan cheese. Really glad I ordered it.
