Delivered quickly and well packed, these lights are great for outdoor use as they are completely waterproof (Apart from the USB connection which needs to be protected) and they have several preset lighting modes that are very effective and give a great display. The preset modes all involve different phasing of coloured lighting but you can also have all white permanantly on lights or all one colour or different shades of one colour if you wish so they are very versatile. The cable is clear and it is very flexible so can go around corners easily. I used some cable clips to attach to a wooden fence, there are no clips or adhesive backing included with the lights. The remote control is one of the flat variety and seems to be well made so should last. These are not cheap lights but good value for what you get and hopefully should last a good few years. *UPDATE 03/12/25* I have now bought another of these lights as the previous one had rust on the USB dongle which had been left outside all year. My fault as I should have protected it more carefully. Anyhow, although the new lights state for indoor and outdoor use, the wires are no longer plastic covered but bare wire and reading the instructions they say for indoor use only. The website still says for outdoor use so the description is incorrect. I have installed these outside already and they are working so we will have to see whether they last beyond the Xmas period with all the rain we are forecast to have over the next 2 weeks!

The colour changing LEDs are nice colours and very pretty. You can set a solid colour or various flashing patterns, no real dimming option but they are not massively bright...enough to set the mood in your kitchen or bedroom / lounge. The only issue is that they are sensitive to our tv box remote and our audio amp remote...so that gets a bit annoying. When we change tv channels or volume we get a disco in our living room! Otherwise this would have been 5 stars.

They are lovely lights, but they are unfortunately affected by a fire stick controller casing them to go on flash and as someone who is epileptic this isn't ideal at all. They unfortunately are now permanently unplugged due to this
