The book itself is exactly what I wanted. The copy I received looks tattered. The front two corners are bent over, showing the white underneath. The top back corner is bent and multiple pages rolled up. It does not look bent from shipping, it looks like it's been handled a lot.

I love this book - it's not a "workbook" like almost all the others that I've looked at. I don't do lettering to perfect it, rather just to spice up something I'm working on. I'm able to use the book as a tool for that - it shows the general "how to" for the style. And it includes NUMBERS for some of the fonts, something I greatly appreciate!I borrowed this from the library so much I decided to get my own copy. :)
