BOGS Kids Camo Boot

I had never even heard of this brand but I asked the people who would know best what brand is good - my sons daycare teacher! She straight up was like - Bogs, they’re waterproof, cozy on the inside and they’re easy to put on - a win win win, if you ask me! And she didn’t lie. If you’ve ever had to put clothes or shoes on a diaper well then you’ve lost years to just the sheer stress of bending down and the fighting and the “kick, baby, kick!” to get some damn shoes on. These are truly a god send bc of the Velcro in the back. Finally going to stop aging at lightspeed.

They're warm, dry & very cute. If they made these same boots in my & husband's size we'd be wearing them too!

Little man struts these around even when not going anywhere.

I love how easy these are to just slip on, very comfortable and warm. They are very all purpose. My kids wear them for everything. I would say they Are almost water proof. Not really for jumping in puddles though

There are a lot of conflicting reviews about waterproofness so I thought I’d add my two cents. We got these boots for our 16 month old. We live in Seattle, and comfortable waterproof boots for a toddler are necessary. Add to that-kiddo has thick calves, so a lot of the high-knee boots just wouldnt even get on him without a lot of work and discomfort.I LOVE LOVE these boots and more importantly, so does my kid. He squealed and pointed at them the whole first day we used them, probably because we finally found a comfortable pair. He can walk, climb, and “run” with ease.As for “waterproof” - these are like neoprene material. They resist water for a LONG TIME but can get wet. To be clear, I’ve had him out walking in wet conditions with mud and puddles for two hours, and he comes back with dry feet. I’ve had him wade in the Puget Sound - dry feet. The two scenarios they soaked through were 1) when we got caught in a torrential rainstorm for 15 minutes continuously and were SOAKED by the end and 2) when he wades in the Puget Sound and gets far enough that the water comes in through the pull-holes located at the calf of the boot. For small children, water doesn’t really need to be that deep to get to that height. My guess is that a lot of the differences on whether “just a puddle” gets the boot wet relates to those holes.In any event, to me, the occasional soaking for an otherwise awesome boot is worth it. I just make sure I have some extra socks with me if I think it will be a problem.

Would give 5 stars easily except that we've only had these a few weeks, with a light-to-normal amount of wear, and the orange zig-zag stitching on both toes is fraying or already worn through. (I would dock to 2 or 3 stars because of this, but the pluses listed below make me still give 4.) It's not unstitched far enough yet for me to tell whether the seam will open or not (it seems like the stitching might be decorative and the seam may actually be held firmly together from the inside). I hope the stitching IS only decorative so the boots won't literally "fall apart at the seams" in another week or two!! The outer layer of fabric (with the truck print) is also starting to scuff through on one toe.Otherwise, here are the pluses: 1) Can't believe they really keep the water out! He has been out plenty in snow in these, and I also watched in amazement as he stood/splashed in a puddle and the water beaded up and rolled off. Felt them inside later and seemed dry. These truly seem suitable for rain or snow and seem to keep him comfortable at around freezing temperature; it doesn't get much colder than that where we live. 2) A new walker can WALK in these (sole is not thick and clunky)!! That was my main criterion in my rain boot search (he is 15 months and up till now has only walked in Robeez soft-soled shoes, which clearly are not sufficient for winter outdoor play). The sole is not too thick, fairly flexible, and has some traction. So perfect for your wobbly toddler!! I looked around online a long time before buying these, and they were the ONLY functional rain boot I could find in this tiny size that did not have a thick sole. 3) They come in a baby size. I would be thrilled if they would come even smaller, but my boy is only 5th percentile so I know his needs for tiny footwear are not representative! :) I bought sz. 4 for him (at 15 months) and they will fit better next year, but he can already barely wear them this year. They are quite roomy and I can easily put his foot in with room to spare even wearing footed pajamas or wool socks. They do fall off sometimes because they are too big for him, but it's ok, since there was nothing else functional on the market for such a small baby foot.

These little boots are really well made. They feel like solid neoprene and keep my little girls feet dry. She loves stomping around in them and couldn't be cuter. It is hard to find nice boots for kids +1Y but these fits really well. Slip on nice and easy and the velcro sticks nice and tight. Will most likely order another pair next year when they are too small.

These are fine as rainboots but considering they're insulated and rated for cold weather, I was surprised to see how terrible these were in light snow! Toddler was slipping all over the place because the sole design basically made the bottom of his shoes packed with ice/snow. I should have read the reviews more closely as it seems this is a common issue.

Size 5 was perfect for my 1 year old. Insulated. Warm. Waterproof. Enough flex that he's not walking like a zombie. I said I'd never buy brand new footwear for him but it was worth it to be honest.
