Fisherman Eyewear Slim Vision Rimless Reading Glasses, Shiny Black (+1.50)

I didn't give it much thought, but I like to carry my readers up on my baseball cap constantly. With straighter arms like these they typically fall off and break. My fault for not thinking it through. I'll have to see how long these last. Otherwise they seem pretty cool so far. A bit spendy for a single piece, but reviews said they last forever.A year would be nice!Oh!!! The case has a sticky hangar thing that you have to remove and in the process it tears the neoprene case lining and renders the case pretty much useless.Kind of strange packaging technique to ruin something in such a way.Why not stick it on the outside of the case on the outer band label?Would I buy again,?Nope...based upon my initial impression vs. cost.

The light weight and comfort of the half-frame readers is ideal-just what I was looking for. The far from ideal: 1) plastic lens will most certainly scratch easily; 2) the glasses cannot be adjusted so they rest level across my face (and folks, my face is not particularly asymmetric-the ear stems on the glasses are crooked); 3) the cheaply-constructed case rips when you remove the sticky, plastic display hook from inside of it.In summary, the glasses work in that I need something now so I can read again after cataract surgeries, but I will certainly be buying another pair something soon. Caveat emptor.

I don’t like that I’m getting to the age that I need reading glasses (especially after LASIK freed me from a lifetime dependency of normal glasses), but it is what it is. These are so light and comfortable that I often forget I’m wearing them and being the half lens design, they are very easy to look “over” so I can watch TV at a distance while noodling around on my phone during commercials like I’m doing right now. These glasses are also very durable and surprisingly scratch resistant. I like them so much that I’ve purchased about 10 of them over the last year, not because I lose or break them but just so I can have a pair waiting for me where I happen to be. They’re great. (The camo color is a really great bonus too.)

This are a really good back up pair of cheater reading glasses. IMO: Do not carry them in your pants pockets as they will break. At least that's how I broke three pairs of these. I was super happy with the glasses but I cannot seem t resist the urge to carry them in my front pants pockets and every time I do they break. When I carried them in a the front pocket of my shirt they have no issues because they are not being twisted up like in pants pockets. I wish they were a little more tolerant to being bent up and twisted so I could buy another pair. Overall I am very happy with the performance of these glasses. If they make them more like the unbreakable comb this would be an unbeatable deal It seems like they always broke in the middle so if someone comes up with a hack for augmenting the material there please comment with idea.
