Good belt with core made of steel wires
This belt is strong with steel wires inside. I needed for a project where it was important to have a steel core and therefore, I actually drilled holes through to verify the steel wire core.It was easy to create a tight loop by hand and the two open ends bonded together nicely with Areldite. Successfully tested pulling of 4.8kg dead weight.I made a 3.2ft long loop (total 6.4ft long) and installed on a 20 tooth gear drive pulley on each side of the loop. One pulley is on the stepper motor and second on the bearing shaft.So far, no problems.GOOD Belt!
