This is my second project and the quality of this was far superior to my first kit. The Crystal's are beautifully formed and square so the finished result is beautiful. The colour changes and detail are stunning. It's about an A3 size so it's a large piece and took me 10 evenings to complete so allow plenty of time for this one. I bought a light pad to place underneath on my easel as I mostly craft at night and would recommend this too. If you enjoy diamond art then you won't be disappointed with this purchase!

I don’t like doing square drill kits. I had already bought a couple of square drill kits but not got around to trying to do either of them. However, I’ve had my eye on this little baby dragon kit for ages now and I kept hoping that MXJSUA would eventually bring it out in round drills. As it seemed this was not going to happen I sent for this kit. At first I was delighted with it as it was fascinating having to get the square drills inside the boxes on the canvas and I felt I had found a new hobby inside a hobby. However, when you work your way down the picture you come across an area of darkness where there are no squares to guide you with the placement of the drills and it was at this point I felt I could no longer go on with the picture so although this kit is good value for the money if you enjoy and understand how to work square drill kits, I feel I have wasted my money and I won’t be buying any more square drill kits. Under these circumstances I don’t feel that I can recommend this kit and I am hoping eventually this gorgeous baby dragon kit will be brought out in round drills. I am still awarding five stars to this kit in case the fault is mine in not knowing how to deal with dark areas but I don’t see any easy or comfortable way of knowing how to place the drills where there are no boxes to guide one.

I chose this baby rainbow dragon design primarily to do for my dragon-mad daughter but I love him so much myself I think I’m going to frame and hang him in the living room! We’ve even named him - Disco Dave. This kit was a joy to work through mainly as it’s so colourful, it was never boring (no huge sections of the same colour)! The design translates well to the size of canvas so the finished result is brilliant. I’ve added a photo of my finished work although I don’t think it does Disco Dave justice as it hasn’t picked up quite how sparkly (‘Disco’ ) Dave when catching the light. I’ve subtracted a star as unfortunately my kit was short of two colours of diamond drills - the black 1 by about 15 and the cream K (or number 16) for about 45. Instead of contacting the manufacturer for more I purchased a whole set of spare diamond drills sold by Artdot via Amazon (next day delivery so very convenient). But of a pain (and extra money) but I think it’s probably useful to have some spare diamond drills in your diamond painting kit anyway - although this was my first kit I’ve found to be lacking in some diamond drill numbers, I doubt it will be my last. I think Disco Dave was worth it!

Fabulous bright colours. It's a pain that these kits aren't 30*40 actual size so they'd be so easy to frame. It's a big issue for me. That's why I try to buy from VM as their sizes are a proper frame size. Ho hum. It's still a good kit

Came really quickly and looks great quality. All the diamonds are included and the canvas flattened out really easily. The colours are much more vibrant in person and really sparkly. The only criticism I have is that some of the diamonds are slightly different shapes but they are the same colour so it doesn’t bother me too much and is impossible to notice unless you are looking at it really closely.

I liked the size of this one 30x40. I think it was a wee bit harder to do as it was square bead instead of round as I usually do . Was good fun to do though . I'm putting this one into a shadow box and putting tiny lights round the inside of the box for the girl next door at xmas. Well worth the money and the colours are fantastic . Happy customer 😁😁😁

The is a definite change in size of drills with different colours. Quite a few even seem to be slightly too small for the square grid's boxes so:- a) you are left with gaps between drills. b) it is difficult to get nice straight lines. c) you are forever trying to get "best fit" and adjusting drills as you fill in area next to another. d) you hardly ever get any satisfying "click" you normally would expect when putting square drills into position. Even within a pack of an individual drill colour, there are cases where some are higher than others from the same pack. Also:- The canvas arrived folded up an hence very creased, (please see photo). We have spent a long time trying the usual "tricks" to flatten a creased canvus, but, this time it has proved impossible to get all the creases\ridges out\flat. It is a nice picture - just a big shame that it is let down by the products poor quality.

This was my first diamond painting. I'm very happy with this kit and how it turned out. The square drills give it a more detailed look, and there were plenty of drills included, no issues with not having enough of any color. The canvas was printed clearly, and the glued area was nice and sticky. I recommend this kit to anybody who enjoys diamond painting. It would make a great gift for anybody who likes dragons too.

Pasatiempo que relaja. Es ideal para regalar. Bonito dibujo. La única pega es que algunas perlas (todas tienen formas redondas) vienen con textura talladas en hexagonal y otras en forma de cuadrado imagino que será para el reflejo de la luz, da un poco de manía

Ich liebe es, wenn sich ein mattes Bild in etwas total schönes und funkelndes verwandelt. Die Leinwand ist eher dunkel gehalten und dafür sind die Steinchen super kraftvoll farblich. Es machte total viel Spaß zu Painten, denn es gibt viele große Flächen und zwischendurch auch Mal Konfetti. Das einzige eures nervige ist, das die Steine nicht alle die gleiche Größe haben, deshalb kann man beim Leuchtepad auch sehen, das relativ große Lücken sind. Steine waren auch genügend vorhanden und die Klebekraft ist auch super.

This diamond painting was really great. Way more amount of beads than needed so you will not be short of them. Will need extra pink gummy tack to finish. 22 colors and very vibrant. Just sticky enough that they can be moved if misplaced. Easy to follow, though if your sight is not so great the X and 3 look similar as well as C, T, and 2. Otherwise really great!!
