Worked great! Fit perfectly!
Replaced my Piranha 800 pump and it fit perfectly into my ball valve. Not sure why others had experience of it being to large.

Pump will not prime without help
I've been rebuilding a boat for the last month and a half. I bought all the parts ahead of time so I could install them as I needed them and not wait a week for shipping. I bought a seaflo 12v 800gph submersible livewell pump and since the inlet for the pump would be a foot below the water line I was expecting it to be more than enough. I finally got the boat finished and decided to take it to the creek, caught a fish and dropped it in the livewell then turned the pump on so it would fill up, a couple minutes later I caught another fish and when I opened the lid to put it in there was still no water in the livewell. I had to crank the outboard and put it in reverse and back the boat up to push water into the inlet and help the pump prime up. Once it started pumping it filled the livewell quickly, but every time I shut it off it lost prime and wouldn't put more water in until I cranked the big motor and ran in reverse to help it.
