I would recommend this book to everyone studying for their private written test. The explanations are thorough and very easy to understand, and it covers everything you will see on the FAA test. I'm also glad that they included the figures in a SEPARATE book as opposed to just sticking it at the end like the jeppesen test guides do. It's a very simple design feature but it is very convenient!

Bought this to study for my PAR private pilot written exam. Studied everyday for around an hour and half a day after going through it and highlighting the answers for the PAR. Took my test 4 weeks after getting this book and passed my exam with a 92!! Can't complain study it and you'll pass. It came with the separate book of all the charts for the exam also. Recommend to anyone studying for their written.

I used this book along with watching ground school videos on YouTube and reading the FAR/AIM and got a 93 on my test. There were a couple questions on the test that I hadn't seen anything about in this book, but otherwise this book prepared me for the written very well.

It is a well organized practice manual. Sometimes the sample questions do not have any preparation in the introductory text. I also find some of the answers seem to contradict previous ones.

Would highly recommend. Helped me a lot when preparing to take my written test, and the free practice test were awesome. Well work the money especially since the FAA test is $150 each time to take it.

Using this book for a ground school right now, and it is almost a complete stand-alone source. The references to the other texts make it super effective in really learning the details, beyond just the right answer.

This book covers a lot of ground and it does so in a pretty straightforward manner. There's a quick overview of each subject, followed by a handful of multiple-choice questions, including an explicit explanation of the correct answer. Unfortunately, a fair few of these questions make reference to figures, graphs, and illustrations that are either not included at all, or included in some section of the book that I've thus far been unable to discover. This definitely makes things a bit confusing, and definitely degrades the book's usefulness.

This saved me. I had the kings home study and was getting 90 on my practice exams. Then I did a practice exam from a different web site and got a 75. Too close for comfort. I did a little research and found this product. I wouldn't suggest JUST using this, but after you've done a ground school, it's nice to have the actual questions. I passed my first time.

Just a warning to anyone else thinking they can save a few quid. This product is for US pupils
