Very nice form factor
Unlike many other outlets, this one has only 1 space for regular plug and another one is given for 3 USB plugs. I personally find it much more convenient as I can plug even bulkier plugs into it and still be able to use USB ports.

They work and now theyre dead
(Update) Anker reached out and was extremely wonderful they offered me a refund for the defective units. This is why I only buy Anker for all my electronics.I gave this product a two-star rating because it almost provided me with a full year of great performance. I purchased these outlets in August 2024 and installed them myself (I’m a retired electrician). The fit was perfect, and they were an ideal replacement for my older outlets. For the first several months, they worked well. I tested the power every two months to ensure they weren’t shorting out, as some reviews mentioned that these units only lasted a few months. Unfortunately, I ended up with one of those batches—out of the four units I bought, they didn’t last as long as I’d hoped.Anker generally makes solid products, and this is the first time I’ve received duds from them. Despite the issues, I’m still satisfied with the time they did work. I plan to contact Anker to see if they can offer any support or solutions. Most of our devices use USB-C, and these outlets were primarily used for that. The only unit I expected to have issues was the one connected to my Amazon Show 15. I assumed it might charge more slowly or fail early, but surprisingly, it was the last one to stop working.I purchased these outlets for $24.99 each.

Original batch was defective and should have been recalled (but I want to love this product)
Update:Nearly a year later I followed up with Anker support to see if they had fixed the stripped screw issue. They sent me out a new unit (for free) and I just got a chance to install it. Good news! The new one did not seem to have any issues stripping. While I was pretty careful, it seemed fine (the original one there was no way to avoid stripping the screws).Note that I left this receptacle installed and in use for nearly a year even though I was worried about the clamping force on the wiring due to the mis-tapped screws. I found this an acceptable risk as we only used it during that time period for USB charging, we never plug anything high amperage into the 120v receptacle (in fact I don't know that we ever plug anything in there on the corner of the kitchen counter).I still think the branded factory receptacle cover is dumb, along with the phillips screw heads, and I am wondering if a regular receptacle cover would even work due to the screw head thickness of the ones that will hold it into the receptacle box? It is probably fine, but I should test it. The yellow painted screw terminal is also dumb for the hot. The standard is copper/brass colored screws for hot, and silver for neutral, green for ground. This "yellow" paint is just dumb.Any self respecting electrician will not love this thing. The screw terminals don't come pre-backed out and just general ruggedness is not great. Getting the ground wire around the ground screw was also akward, just the dimensions of the gap you can shove the wire into in order to wrap it around are odd. Anker is a USB charger company, not an electrical receptacle company (and it shows). I kind of wish they would get together with one of the major receptacle companies and do a joint product that is the best of both worlds. ;-)So I am upgrading my review from one star to four stars because I do like the product (it gets used daily by the family in our Kitchen and works great for cell phone charging), but I am unhappy they did not recall the original ones that were defective, and I also think fit and finish could be better from a practicality standpoint.I like the product (and may buy more for family members this Christmas), but there are absolutely areas it can be improved.P.S. The size is pretty challenging too from a box wire fill standpoint, this is in many ways dictated by the physics, but with newer GaN charging designs perhaps improvements can be made. My box only barely fit it.======== Original Review ========I have wanted USB chargers in a standard receptacle form factor forever but sadly the “traditional” receptacle manufacturers have no clue when it comes to the nuances of USB charging and all the competing standards. Leviton for instance has had USB-C charging for a long time, but only 5v at 3 amps which makes USB-C pointless (no PD).So I was very excited when I saw this product as Anker is well regarded in this space. Sadly, they have totally failed on the receptacle side of things. There are a ton of reviews here stating the exact same problem I had. The screw terminals must have been tapped wrong or something as a tiny amount of torque will strip them which makes the connection have insufficient torque and likely to overheat. This is a safety issue. This batch of product needs to stop being sold and needs to be recalled immediately. I am not joking, this is a safety hazard. This product may end up being fine, but they have to solve this manufacturing defect. So I went ahead and finished installing it and tested it (under only USB loads it was fine for my test even with limited torque on the screw - I did not use the AC receptacle and I pigtail wired the daisy chained receptacles so they don’t pass through). The charger seems to work fine so far, but the AC tamper resistant receptacle is chintzy, and the AC receptacle does not seem to engage until you insert the plug a long way in. It just does not sound and feel right like a normal socket. For my use case in the kitchen counter it would be fine though if not for the striped screws. The instructions also seem totally wrong. They say to wrap the wire around the screws, but that is NOT the type of terminals they provided. The unit is also quite large (expected for heat dissipation) and so just be aware. It tuned out my electrical box is a low profile one and so it just barely / did not really fit. Pigtail wiring helped a lot.Oh, and the included Anker branded faceplate is dumb. I will just use a standard faceplate when I do the final install if they fix the issue. Note that the sheen of the receptacle is more flat than shiny. And who uses Phillips screws on a faceplate?!? One of those screws was also stripped! Fails all around (but I am still excited for the product if fixed).

Anker products are pretty top of the line
I installed these this morning to replace another double outlet with two USB-A outlets. I didn't realize that these only have 1 AC outlet but I tried to remember a time when I needed 2 AC outlets in which I was using them to run to appliances rather than charging a phone or tablet. I was impressed with the "beefiness" of the outlet and it is rather large. One of my outlets on my kitchen island, which jumps to the next outlet, had additional thick copper wiring and it made it slightly frustrating to get all the wires back in and seat the outlet correctly but the electrician had put a deeper than normal box in so it helped. To Anker - keep making great products!!

Perfect
I've installed a lot of receptacles in my day. For integrated USB, this is my favorite. They look so crowded squeezing two plugs and multiple USB into one item! I think this is the best one because they DONT do that. Replacing the second plug for USB looks soooo clean. This is the GFCI protected secondary receptacle in a bathroom. One side of vanity is GFCI, other side is this Anker device allowing perfect convenience to charge a phone, toothbrush, razor, etc without hassle. Absolutely perfect product. The terminals for install are done well and install easy - sometimes these devices get so big they are hard to squeese into the box. I didn't have too much issue with this one.TL;DR: This is the cleanest look of any USB integrated receptacle. It is Qi and PD up to 30W so it is suitable for any device; it's actually quicker than most.
