ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS Coding Handbook, 2014, With Answers

This is a very good book but the only thing I did not like is it does not give you practice exercises for chapters 21-33. There are case studies in the back of the book with answers which is very helpful. But, I do not know why the author decided not to include case studies for chapters 21-33. Other than that, I would highly recommend purchasing this book. If you take the time to read this book in its entirety and do the exercises, you will not need to take all these ICD-10 courses that are out hereI gave this book 4 stars because they did not give you practice exercises with the answers for chapters 21-33

The text is direct, to the point, very well laid out, and actually applies to the subject. The chapters arent too long or too short and the book isnt stocked full of irrelevant text. Most AHIMA writers usually suffer from "I need to fill up space, so I am going fill entire pages that references other irrelevant chapters, and let you know what type of wax is used on the floor." However, this author did a good job.

The author of the Coding Handbook, did not have the student feeling overwhelmed while learning the material.I like the Case Summary Exercises.I would recommend this product, to any student studying in this chosen field.

I purchase this book to see why I got some answer wrong.But it gives me the answer but does not give much information of how, by not providing a rationality of what to look up or where to find in it in the code book guideline. For people that have no coding experience can be difficult to understand the marital.

This is what I'm using to review for ICD-10. The book is very comprehensive. I would have given it five stars if it also has rationales for the exercises and not just the case studies.

Please, can somebody tell me, is this book good for exercise for CCA certification? I have to take CCA exam, and I order this book.I like book very much, but I don't know is this book good for exam study. Thanks
