Definitely Recommend
I’ve read the rest of Kabi Nagata’s manga and loved them all. So I had high expectations for My Wandering Warrior Existence. I wasn’t disappointed! Enjoyed this manga very much. The art and the story sucked me in and kept me entertained until the very end.

Another amazing read
I love love love these memoirs. It feels like catching up with an old friend at this point. If you enjoyed her previous books, then of course you’ll love this one as well.

I'll keep coming back
I think I figure out why I - aging cis/straight male - see so much in Nagata-san's autobiographies. It's because so many of life's problems are shared so very widely. Maybe it's in Kabi's nature to blow the problems up more than most people do, but it's as if she holds a magnifying glass over life's troubles. Starting there, her skills as narrator and illustrator bring those moments to relatable reality. And, not least, she has the courage to publish them for all the world to see. (She notes that her previous volumes have caused family problems, for that very reason.)So, in retrospect, it seems obvious that the symbol isn't the thing symbolized - the moments of a happy wedding have little to do with years of a happy marriage. And many real pleasures in life have no familiar symbols, like the invisible freedom of living on one's own. Then there are the symbols that represent nothing at all real, like the hurdles Kabi sees ahead of her, that she discovers were just her immaterial worries and fears.I wish Ms. Nagata all the best in life, and hope that these stories of discovery lead her to it.-- wiredweird

The Crazy Life…
Her insecurity knows no bounds. She didn’t understand wedding, romance, relationships, and bonsai. But a lot of thinking later, along with conversations with online friends, she realizes there’s not a lot of hurdles she imagined there were. Still, she’s not into relationships anytime soon. We’ll see. Recommended.

God I love everything this woman writes
Definitely a lot lighter than her other ones. (Apart from a couple of pages) but still interesting and touching. 10/10

Heartfelt
I always love the stories by this author. She does an amazing job talking about really difficult and painful issues in a raw way. Love the art and the pacing too. Highly recommend this and the others she's done!

She keeps walking…and a good walking
I feel afraid every time Nagata releases a book…afraid of disappointment. She’s good and I admire the way she express’s herself.
