I bought the reusable double sided tape, originally to stick a mobile phone holder to the dashboard. It was a bumpy, curved, textured leather and it didn't stick to it at all. However, it has since been invaluable! We used it for sticking stick on hooks to the wall for the net curtain poles when the original adhesive fell off, used it to stick a piece of car trim back on, used it to stick our doorbell on the door and to randomly fix a pair of wooden tongs. There's more yet but the ease with which we stuck up the doorbell made me write the review. I had no trouble removing the backing tape. I haven't tried to reuse it.

Good value. Good for lots of things that need sticking down.

Good but came loose after about 6 months maybe the way I applied not too sure but enough to reapply and secure when done

Very easy to cut and use, great value and has a solid grip that would be hard to pull off without a lot of effort.

This is absolutely the strongest adhesive tape I’ve ever used. But, if you’re thinking of cutting pieces off to stick to the back of something you want to mount, then expect it to take ten minutes per strip to remove the backing! Rather spend the time peeling back the red backing at the beginning of the roll, and cut a bit of the sticky tape off and discard it. Then peel off the tape, cut the tape only, and use that. Yes it sticks to your fingers, try keeping your fingers dry with baby powder. Always leave an excess of red backing so you never have to go through the ordeal of peeling off the red backing again!

Not suitable for my purchase

If I could have given 1/2 a point, I would have. I meticulously followed the instructions to ensure the area was clean. Cut two strips for the bottom of the dash item. As I watched, as it just peeled away, I tried several times with the same result.
