Best Vision 960P 8CH 1TB IP NVR Security Surveillance System + (4) 1.3MP PoE Outdoor Bullet Cameras

I purchased this item with 0 reviews on it. I needed a NVR with POE injection built in. This one works right out of the box. I had purchased 2 other systems (not mentioning names) but they were junk. Got this one working with no problems. I am even able to add my onvif compatible foscams to this and utilize the PTZ features. I currently have 5 cameras hooked up recording in HD. The 1tb hard drive last about 4 days or so then re writes over the old data. The night Vision is beyond what I expected and works amazingly from the top of a 2 story building out 60+ feet. Also has some nice windows software you can use.Only cons I have about this is, the mouse it comes with is jerky probably due to a low DPI, and it does not detect my usb keyboard so I have to click everything I need to type (which is minimal). Also I had a USB 8gb stick that was formatted in a old linux system I had, it detected it but has no option to format external media. Once I formatted my self I was able to copy recorded stuff onto the 8gb flash no problem.So far it has been running a few weeks with no problems, uses low power on my UPS so during power outages everything is still recording, which is nice. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs 8 or less cameras.

Pretty great system! My parents recently had some security concerns after hearing about a few neighbors getting things stolen from their garages / backyards, and turned to me (their techy daughter) for help. I did some research and found this system while looking at a few others, and saw the detailed positive review and the fast response from the seller right after it and figured it as a no-brainer at this price (they weren't looking to spend much).Usually I'm one to look for stuff that integrates into other home automation (like color-changing bulbs and thermostats and whatnot), but most of the ones I saw were pretty limited - namely in they required monthly fees for cloud storage or only offered limited/microSD storage options. Since this one had a 1TB drive included, it would avoid any such fees.Anyway, the system itself is pretty nice - I specifically looked for POE systems (like this one) after learning a bit about the different types because a single Ethernet cable is much easier to run through a house than the thicker cables (coaxial?) other system use. I also like that while it only includes 4 cameras, it has space both on the NVR and POE for more (and I saw the review here mentioned something about ONVIF capability - I'm not too familiar with security systems yet but it seems like having that opens up a lot of possibilities if my parents ever want to add cameras). And there's some with wireless cameras but frankly with something like video streaming I always trust a hard-wired connection over a wireless one.The video quality is about what you'd expect at 720p...sure it's not some fancy 1080p or 4K cameras (do those even exist for security cameras?) but for what my parents needed (a simple camera system to cover a few spots around their house), the quality is enough, including at night with the infrared lights. It'd be nice if it was color at night too but I guess that's how most security cameras work?I had a few random small questions so I messaged the seller (POE Depot) and they got back to me pretty quick - even on the weekend! Seems like they make the unit under the "Best Vision" name which is why they're able to help so well. Hopefully I don't run into any serious issues but if I do then it's good to know they support their product.But yeah I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for:- Affordable / easy to install 4-camera system with expandability- Local storage / no monthly fees- Great support

These system is great! I purchased 1 initially to install in Guam and monitor my business daily operation. I am impressed. i went ahead an bought 2 more for the other building of my business in Guam as well and 1 for my parents house in Hawaii. all of which has been working flawlessly. every time i had an issue or needed trouble shooting i called the vendor (POE) and their technician Kiren has been able to resolve all our problems and issues over the phone. set up is so easy. with multiple ways to view cameras either via, app, internet or locally. to be honest due to multiple remote viewing it really isn't necessary for you to have a monitor designated for cameras only. you can view it on your tablet or phone anywhere any time. I will be purchasing my 4th unit soon for my home in Georgia.You cannot find any other cameras with HD quality video feed, and up to 8 channels/8 cameras. only thing that i did not like is the fact that if you needed to purchase more cameras (because it only comes with 4 cameras) you would have to purchase from vendor directly. I hope they give the option to purchase this in amazon as well in the near future because i will be needing 12 more cameras in the near future. If you are like me who reads reviews before spending any money on amazon then i hope this helps.

Reasonably priced POE DVR and cameras. The quality of the cameras is very good and for the basic setup it is a breeze to get everything up and running. The only complaint is the documentation is terrible and trying to figure out how to get the push to cloud to work is very frustrating. Also the QR code for the phone app downloads an older app that no longer works. I was able to find the right app in the play store and get everything working though. I did have one camera that got stuck in night vision mode and I called PoE Depot and they issued an RMA and replaced that camera without much fuss. Although I did have to pay for shipping the bad camera back to them.

We purchased the system in Oct 2016, and it worked for a year when one of the cameras went out. We switched the cameras around and found out the camera that was good. That camera would work once in a while, then it stopped working all together. Then about six months later the entire system stopped working. I called Best Vision Systems and asked if we could by a new box, because the cameras were good. The person I spoke to had no idea what I needed. I explained the issue to her several different ways. She said that she could not help me that I would have to call back the next working day when someone there could help. I would not recommend Best Vision Systems.
