After watching video reviews here to determine exactly how bright this light would really be, I was pretty sure it would meet my needs. I purchased the lights to hang on the bunk ends of my pop-up camper. I charged at home, using the provided cable and my laptop, until the indicator light turned green, then packed them in the camper and went off on an 8-day trip. Lights were used each evening, inside and outside, and I did not need to recharge them once. Because of the clips on either end of the cord, it was simple to attach and hang light from bunk end poles, tarp rivets, etc. The lights provided more than enough light to illuminate most of my campsite, cook in the dark, and walk dogs (hang the light around your neck for a hands-free flashlight).The three white light features are more than enough to do anything in the dark. I found the other lighting options to be added "fluff" but think they'd be fun for kids (playing in the dark, trick-or-treating, etc.).Overall, this was a great purchase and met my needs very well.

This light is compact and provides a lot of light. We hung it up in our tent, and it was perfect! I have a toddler; it was nice to turn it to a dim setting when I put her to bed and acted as a night light for her too, while my husband and I were sitting by the campfire. It was also nice to have a light that hung up easily, instead of having to hold onto a flashlight and look for items.

I bought this for camping, and fell in love with it the minute I lit it up. Camp illumination is important to me both wilderness canoe camping and RV camping, and this light works well in both cases. This is one of the most versatile lamps in my inventory, and all my friends want one.

horrible light! turns on for no reason, and power button no longer works. wacky light features that are pretty useless. I think it is a bad product and an engineering disaster

I love it, I hang it around my neck while I walk the dogs and I have hands free lighting for us both!

As a basic LED lantern, it's OK. The other modes are fluff. Unless I had a dud, all I could do with the modes was change the ambience color or cause them to flash. Good for an emergency, I guess, but there was no easy way to activate that mode without cycling through all the modes. All the other color modes simply pulsed brighter and darker. Not sure what the point of that is. If I wanted to select a steady red ambient light, it wasn't there; just red pulsing. The only steady lighting was the main white LEDs and the power on indicator.
