There are 2 types of glass screen protectors for curved screens: A) the "no bubble" ones that are curved to fit, thus they only have adhesive on the edges, and B) a flat sheet of glass that is smaller than the screen it's protecting, and has adhesive over the entire screen. That's what this screen protector is. You see, the problem with the "A" protectors is durability. Since they only have adhesive on the edges, they pop off when you drop them, put them in your pocket, or frankly if you sneeze while holding your phone. That's why I prefer THIS screen protector. Yes, I'm giving up some screen real estate around the edges... Big whoop. The fact is, this "B" screen protector will take a beating, keys in the pocket, dropping it down the steps, and it will shatter, so your phone doesn't. If you're picky, and really gentle, you can have the other kind. And I wish you all the best. Me, I'm not gentle. I'm brutal with my phone. Which is why this screen protector is what I need. And when I shatter it, I put another one on and move on with life, without giving good products bad reviews.

Gave these a try because finding a good screen protector for a 5 year old phone is kind of a nightmare, and most of the ones that work well with the curved screen have black around the edges. Ran into the same issues many other reviewers have had. I can get around the raised edges issue using the oil trick (grab a bit of olive oil, canola oil, whatever, and a q-tip...and rub some oil around the edges, raised edges will stop looking like raised edges). However it seems almost impossible to get the screen protector on without having at least one huge air bubble/gap. I removed and reapplied both screen protectors multiple times without success. Was hoping for a good clear screen protector for this phone, but would not recommend this one.

It says on review its supposed to work for Pixel 2XL and they should know the screen is curved. Saying it will fit and does not. I tried both of the ones that came in the packet. They both failed and have sticking issues around the curved outside border, now i lost money for no reason. Waste, do your self the favor and do not buy if you have a Pixel 2XL, because it surely won't fit.

This screen protector DOES NOT fit a Google Pixel 2XL. The screen edge is slightly rounded. The screen protector is flat. There is an eighth of an inch or more of the protector just sticking out not attached to the screen. Waste of money. Now I have to go find another screen protector for it. Until then the ring of dirt it's going to collect will be damaging the edges of my screen. Garbage. Zero stars.
