Works better than advertised.
I set up this signal booster at my vacation home which is in a cell reception dead zone. The nearest tower is 8 miles away in a very hilly and wooded area. I was concerned with this product even working, since I can only very occasionally get an LTE signal in one certain area on my property. The instructions state you need to have 1-2 bars outside, which I wasn't getting. And also stated it only worked within 5 miles of a cell tower, which I was also outside of. Still I gave it a shot since it has free returns if it ended up not working.I set it up on the roof of my cabin, pointed it towards the nearest tower that I found using CellMapper, and I was able to get an LTE signal at -105dBm, which is the low side of of a "good" connection. That was good enough for 8Mbps download speeds. I went from no reception outside, to good reception inside. I was actually amazed by its performance, so the brand name fits in this case.I highly recommend this product.

This thing does boost your signal!
I’m not much of a bragger when it comes to any type of product since the product was made for that specific job. But in most cases some products are made, they are drastically boosted to what the capabilities are just to give a total let down once it’s been put in place. This item on the other hand didn’t fail in providing a signal boost that I needed. It’s been up for a year now and this thing delivers as advertised. My hotspot has not had many issues with obtaining a signal since the booster was added to my Internet system. I can have 2 smart TVs a computer and 3 cellphones running simultaneously and there is no lag in streaming content on any device. Mind you that my hotspot data speed is only providing 20 Mbps. Yes, a great signal means you’re able to not need so much data speed. Maybe I’m just lucky but I’m betting the booster has a great deal to do with why my hotspot is performing so good.

Easy to install
Signal strength isn't quite what I was expecting but it serves its intended purpose. I live in an old mobile home with metal siding so it's like living in a Faraday cage. I placed the item in the back bedroom. I get five bars on my CPAP machine which used to only get one. It's a straight shot down the hall to the living room (30 feet) where I only get two bars which used to be only one. But I have had no dropped calls since install.

1st died, 2nd didn't do anything but turn on, find something better
I bought this booster because I wanted to make sure everyone that visited my cabin would get good signal. I already have decent enough signal outside, but when you go inside the cabin with the metal roof, the signal dips enough to make it worth getting a booster. I bought this and after a bit of finding the best outdoor antenna placement, things were looking good until the unit just died. It wouldn't do anything, so I thought maybe it's just a dud unit and replaced it through Amazon. The 2nd unit came, I put the outdoor antenna in the same place where LTE Discovery App showed the best signal and followed all instructions to the T. Went in the cabin and hooked up the rest, everything seemed fine, no blinking lights, just the power light, all good. Except I was getting no boost. Like absolutely zero boost. I tried moving the indoor antenna all over the place to make sure I wasn't causing any issues as they instruct in the manual, but no dice, nothing worked. I'm not willing to try a 3rd unit. It might work for you, but it didn't for me.

Real Person Review Cause Who Else Would Choose To Live in a Tech Desert?
Scene: perfect little retirement home - charming, peaceful, quiet, with nice neighbors and a few acres on a sleepy river, best of all affordable & only took a 10 year search to find it! Except for one serious flaw: no internet and hardly any cellphone service. Internet, phooey. We use the town library's wifi for online banking, filing taxes, essential googling and occasional shopping. Otherwise we live our lives in real time. No phone service however is a huge problem. Yes all cell phones have SOS so long as they power up, service or not, but no emergency personnel is going to appreciate our calling them to patch through a call to fill a prescription, ask about the daily dinner specials, check with the treasurer's office about the tax bill much less find out what time hubby is coming home or make a book club date with a neighbor. We got 1 bar in 1 14" corner of 1 room on a good day. When the sun was shining. Where there was no electrical outlet so better check the battery before planning to make a call. Receiving one was a crap shoot. We got a lot of "it didn't even ring -- just went to voicemail". Moving being out of the question we started looking into boosters and decided on this one.It took a couple hours install ... mostly because cellmapper.net is difficult to use (hardly the fault of the booster manufacturer). Tough it out because this step cannot be skipped. The tower sending the signal is the essential part. The phone receiving it is secondary. We ended up physically driving to the tower of our provider to verify the precise direction where the antenna must be mounted. Luckily we have an existing TV antenna in the perfect spot. After that it was a piece of cake running the cable, hooking up everything, and powering up the phones. Instantly we went from SOS-Only to a full 4 bars in most rooms of the house. When you live in the boonies, this equates to no less than a miracle.

Works for Verizon, does nothing for my T-mobile hotspot.
Works fine for Verizon after rep;acing the cheap coax that came with it with pure copper quad shield coax. Does not work with my T-mobile hotspot despite saying it works with T-mobile. Gave to my brother. Search goes on for one that actually works with T-mobile
