Descent Lighting
This unit is just only my Backup Flashlight just in case my 16,000 Lumen flashlight runs out and no way to charge it, this unit good at it. Strong Magnetic Base that can be attach to the chassis of the semi truck while installing tire chains. The Red Flashing light is bright enough for Motorists to see it at 200 Yards in case of Roadside Problems. But overall it's a good flashlight 🔦 400 Lumens on Both Flood and Spot light and 400 Lumens of COB for Side Work Light and descent run time depending on the AAA Batteries that people will be using but me I'm using a Lithium Ion Rechargeable AAA Batteries it added a little bit of power and mine had bumped up the brightness to 700 lumens I just measured it with special tools. But the stock and using ordinary alkaline AAA batteries is only just 400 lumens. This unit is legitimately Waterproof because I just submerged mine in the bucket of water upon receiving my package in the mail. It is perfectly built I say!

Great flashlight, but it sucks the juice out of batteries (revised).
This is indeed a great flashlight, and I'm finding that I prefer to use it for many things I used to do with other flashlights. Even the pull-out work light is amazingly handy. The main problem is with the power usage, and for that reason I am deducting one star. I use the light only a few minutes a day, but batteries are depleting after three weeks or so. When that happens the light shuts off unexpectedly. I switched from Alkaline AAAs to Lithium AAAs, thinking they would last longer, and they do, but only marginally (as in an extra week or ten days). When the light starts shutting off unexpectedly and I check the batteries, some or all of them have gone below a usable charge. There is a rechargeable version of this light, but I didn't get it precisely because I didn't want the light failing at critical moments when I wouldn't be able to recharge it. This is not as bad a problem, but still highly annoying. They need to fix the power usage of this thing. It's LED, after all. The LEDs don't consume a lot of power. Something in the electronics for the extra features is really sucking up the juice. Edit, 1/25/18: I sent this review to Nebo, and received the following information from them. Based on what they say, I am upgrading the review to 5 stars. I'll see how their methods work out. These battery-saving methods were either not in the instructions, or weren't clear somehow. From Nebo tech support:>> The typical run time on a set of batteries is approximately 3 hours 15 mins (mode variable). This product produces 300 Lumens from each Element so the battery drain will be significant – especially if you use it in short cycles of use (10 minutes each time) – we push the batteries the hardest during those initial 5 minutes. To help extend your runtimes on a set of batteries, I would recommend that you utilize the memory setting for each of the lighting elements. By holding the button solid during the use of the lighting mode – you can lower the memory setting for the dimming level to as low as 20%. The next time you use the light you can double tap the button (from off position) to access the memory setting for that light mode. It will greatly extend your run times when you don’t need the full 300 lumens capability. You can always access the brightest output by using the single button press from the off position. On the work light, the double tap works from the On position since that light has an auto ON/OFF function. <<End quote.

I very much dislike this light
Had a co-workwer who has a bit of an obsession with lights such as this recommend this brand. We need lights regularly at work and he adores his MANY from this brand. This listing claims the light is rechargeable > it is not. At one point it stopped functioning all together and another co-worker dismantled it and put it back together then it functioned again. It's huge> which since I was looking for something the size of a pen light, not what I was hoping for. But I have decided to use it for around the house because of the size being wrong for my work needs. No big deal overall. Right? Well. It wouldn't be a problem if the light would stay on for more than 45 seconds at a time> even with brand new fully charged batteries. I know I'm not that quick at putting together the plumbing, but for real, who is going to accomplish that in under 45 seconds ? All in all, there isn't a reason other than possibly to use as a hammer or projectile protection that this would be useful for. It is now far too past Amazon's return window, so now this is just a toy in my 6y/o artillery of things to annoy everyone else with, since a child can do plenty to annoy or destroy in 45 seconds. Don't waste your money. I ended up buying a 2 pack of actually rechargeable lights for less than this, that are brighter and actually function. Those aren't as massive so wouldn't be as useful in a hand to hand combat situation, but I am not a person who seeks such engagements. I buy a flashlight to use as a flashlight. Weird. I know. Aaaaand, to function reasonably as a flashlight, it is kind of expected to stay on. For more than 45 seconds. That's more of a strobe light.

Bright light with great features, but magnet could be stronger.
Pretty impressive light! The main flashlight is super-bright and can be focused from wide to narrow beam, able to light things up almost a block away. The white slide-out COB light is also very bright -- don't look at either light too directly, it's painful, and be sure to hold the flashlight so that the COB light faces away as you slide it out. The COB's flashing red light setting is plenty bright, too. You'd expect that a light that uses just four AAA batteries would be somewhat light in weight, but this is a substantial item -- pretty hefty with smooth-acting threads for focusing the flashlight and opening the battery compartment. Some of that ample heft is a disadvantage, though. The magnetic base is strong, but only strong enough to hold the light horizontally if you haven't extended the COB section; the weight is too far out if it's extended and the magnet isn't able to hang on, so attaching the light to your car fender with the COB section shining downward (so you can change a tire, for example) isn't an option. It's certainly strong enough to hold the light upright on your car roof, though, where you can use the flashing red COB light to warn approaching traffic. This took care of a slight dilemma -- would I use the light to change a tire at night or as a warning light, since it can't do both at once. Warning light will probably be its roadside emergency use, although the lens end is heavy enough and stable enough that one could stand it on the ground vertically to illuminate the hypothetical flat tire or other repair. I was rather surprised that the light didn't come packaged in a box, or any packaging at all for that matter. Just had a sticker attached with some warranty information; no instruction booklet, but then again it IS a flashlight and its bells and whistles aren't hard to figure out. Despite the less-than-optimal magnet this is an impressive flashlight. I've only had it for a day so I obviously can't attest to its long-term durability, but my initial impression is that this light will work well for quite some time.

I thought I had a problem with this light staying on but didn't really.
I thought I had the problem that several reviewers have mentioned about the light not staying on. It would come on only for a few seconds and then go off. I emailed the company and got a reply within 24 hours. They said that I needed to make sure that I wasn't using Duracell batteries in it. I checked it and it had the original NEBO batteries in it (almost a year old but with very little use). I took those out and put in some rechargeable Eneloop batteries. The light seems to work fine now. I even left it on for about 15 minutes the other day. If you are having a problem with the light staying on, try different batteries. I don't know why they said not to use Duracell but that's not a problem because I am converting to all rechargeable batteries.

Mid quality
Very bright and the "zoomable focus" is very effective. I currently have two SLYDE + that are mal functioning. One will not extend and the other, with the primary lamp, stays energized .n Will report if any service, etc. Otherwise, keep looking.
