Easier to put on, but not as tight.

Nice fit; first time wearing compression socks. I go to the doc tomorrow to find out why one ankle is swollen around the outer ball joint. In the meantime I've been trying different things to help the swelling: low sodium, drink more water, flex the foot and leg, elevate, rest it, and wear the compression socks. It started with my ankle and has now swelled up my foot and calf. I got a larger size to help accommodate the swelling. These were pretty easy to get on .. my hubs would tell me horror stories of him trying to get compression on.The only problem with fit is they are too long so they bunch around the back of my knees and bug me.

I was able to get an XL size after having to get 4x in other brands. This is because of the wide calf cut. I might be able to go down to just a large because of this which is wonderful since finding the right socks when tall and a bit big is not easy. I need these to wear to work since I am sitting most of the day and have trouble with my legs since a car accident in '85. These are comfortable and easy to get on but yet provide the compression I need. Good find and I'm glad I gave them a try.

I have tried 3 different brands of compression knee highs and these are without a doubt the best. They are easier to get on so my arthritic hands don't hurt as much. They don't cut in across the top of my foot and they stay up. The material is thicker than the others yet very comfortable and doesn't make my feet and legs sweat. The company offers petite length as well. Just wish the thigh highs were available in wide calf.

Finally found socks that my loved one can use! Bought our first pair and fitted perfectly, not too difficult to put on and my loved one says they are very supportive. She put them on and had a problem with one sock as a hole started to rip. Contacted Brightlife and they dispatched a brand new pair within the day of our email. As a result, we bought more. At first these fit great , but after a week they seemed to have stretched out and not a good fit any more.

I bought these for my hubby, and he says they are better quality than the ones he got for $80 apiece from the surgeon. Good deal!UPDATE December 2022: After one hand wash, the wide calves became so wide that they won't stay up, while the ankles are now so small that they garrote my husband's legs (and I mean that literally!). These used to be excellent compression socks for the price, but now they are only good for amputations. HORRIBLE!
