Hermes Cologne Eau d'Orange Verte Fragrance From Hermes Paris - Savon Parfume - 1 Ounce

I love the citrus scent it is so refreshing. I just wish the scent bubble was a bit more.

one of the great scents in the world, clean & fresh, day or night, these little bottles fit anywhere. They are small and as small portions are, then seem a little expensive, but remember 4-5 oz. can cost close to $100. these are for gym bag, carry ons & the like. no shop charge was nice.

Great cologne. The first time that I tried this cologne was abroad while visiting Spain and I fell in love with the fragrance. The scent smells like fresh oranges coupled with a hint of lime, it is an extremely fresh fragrance. This fragrance is unlike any other, it is great for summer time and in this packaging it can easily be used for traveling as it meets the TSA size requirements.

One of these days I am going to find my "new" cologne to replace the cologne I wore since High School (Grass Oil by Jovan). Grass Oil was pulled off the market a number of years ago, so I've diligently looking for a replacement. This one came close. It is a great, fresh, outdoorsy cologne BUT....no one can smell it after 15 minutes. I have tried every version of it, in every size, and there is just something wrong. Not only can I not smell it after 15 minutes, neither can anyone else.What's up?

I was really disappointed! Had read about this citrusy fragrance and it sounded as to what I was reallylooking for but wanted to try a sample before purchasing a larger container. I openedthe small container on receipt and smelled the fragrance which seemed too light. I used itas an after shave this morning. I know it's not an after shave but I splashed it on because of the faintsmell. No alcohol sting but the fragrance was wonderful for about 10 minutes. By the time I got back tothe living room, there was no fragrance, even on my hands! Really a disappointment! I don'tknow if it was an old sample or what.

This is not Jean-Claude Ellena"s Eau d'Orange Verte, nor is it the original Eau d'Orange Verte created by Francoise Caron in 1979. (Ellena's version is from 2009) It is however, a nice eau de cologne, and quite wearable. I want to be clear that I AM NOT accusing the seller of selling a fake product, or trying to say it was not produced by Hermes. It's just that I own both the Ellena and Caron versions of Eau d'Orange Verte and this lacks the strong orange presence and woody base of both - so if anyone is expecting it to be either of these you may be disappointed. If you are looking for a nice, fresh eau de cologne for a lower price this one fits the bill.

I've been on a citrus-smelling cologne adventure. I bought this on a whim, since it is practically a sample size. Now, citrus scents do not last, but Hermes has done a great job of mixing a lovely elixir of longer lasting citrus smells. I love the name, (translation: Green Orange) since it pretty accurately describes the first hit of this perfume. It's an elegant, simple scent. Love it.

Great product, great price and EXCELLENT service! I was at the launch of this product in 1979 at 24 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris and was honored to meet Françoise Caron it's creator. I've worn it ever since.

I like the fragrance, but who sells that small a quantity for that high a price? The seller must highlight the ridiculously small size!
