I bought these before prices rose so steeply and for ~£30 each, they're really great value. I installed one in an old Intel NUC I wanted to install Linux on. Installation was simple and the drive fit perfectly. The performance is good enough for my use case and I'd say for most people it's fast enough. The 512GB capacity is enough for basic office use but will probably be a bit limiting if you're looking to install more than one AAA game on it. I've not noticed and issues with heat in use but I'm only using it for basic tasks like web browsing and some light office tasks. Overall, at the price I paid, I think this drive is excellent value for money.

Ordered a few days ago to use as a secondary drive in my laptop. Honestly, it's perfect for me. Budget-friendly - you're not paying £75-80 for a 1TB Samsung, WD or SK hynix NVMe SSD, and you're also not navigating the minefield of dodgy yet cheap SSDs from brands like Fanxiang, Kingston, ADATA or Teamgroup. Decent warranty on it too - 5 years or 600TBW, which is great for what I'd call a budget SSD. You don't normally get that - avg for 1TB budget SSDs are around 200-300TBW. So hopefully the higher TBW rating should translate to better quality. Hopefully their customer service is decent in case I need to claim on the warranty. Fast and reliable too - so far, it's holding up great. Speeds are noticeably faster than my old SATA SSD, so it's all good there. Games run faster and are less "choppy" than they were, so that's a bonus. Not sure what else to put here except that it currently seems like a great SSD to get, definitely comparable to some of the Gen3 SSDs from Samsung, WD and SK hynix. Would certainly pick again instead of one from Kingston, Fanxiang, ADATA or any of the other no-name brands. If anything changes however, this review will be updated to reflect it.

Great SSD managed to upgrade my laptop from 500Gb to this 1TB one which is great as I was running out of space. It’s just as fast and seems fine so far and was quite easy to fit into my laptop after cloning my drive. Recommend it and found I have one spare memory slot. I didn’t use Acer software used EaseUs but was quite easy.

Used in first PC build. It works. It has the storage that was advertised. Idk. It's great. Idk exactly how nvme SSD's work so I can't say much.

I bought this as I was looking for a cheap Gen 3 NVMe from a reliable brand to use as a read cache in my Synology DS1821+, and for 512GB at £29.99 (Feb 2025) this was just the ticket. It’s actually massively over-spec’d for my use case - you can’t get much lighter duty for an NVMe SSD than a read cache - and of course it’s handled the job effortlessly. It’s been running 24 hours a day with zero issues and has made day-to-day interactions with my NAS noticeably snappier over my 2.5Gb network. Excellent performance, no fuss, and unbeatable value for the price. Purchased February 2025 for £29.99.

Great price paid for this branded (Acer) SSD. I used it to clone my pc drive - cloning is easier and better than backing up as it clones the operating system as well as everything else. I had a recent nightmare so has to reset Windows 11. Had I done this earlier I'd have saved time and enery. This drive is perfect for use - you have to initialize it in Disk Manager, then (still in Disk Management) format a Simple Volume allocate a drive number and off you go - use it to store stuff, clone whatever.

My GAMES CAN FINALLY RUN WITHOUT STUTTERING. I have been loving my SSD now that I have it. One of the best and most reliable pieces of hardware needed for any PC. However, make sure you get one that’s on the higher end of storage for your games. I made the mistake of snagging this one while it was on sale and for the price its been so much better to game. Its speeds are amazing too loading in new areas doesn’t take as long. I’ll definitely be going to a 2TB or a 3TB in the future. The price tag is worth it for such a great piece of hardware. If you’re unsure of compatibility check your Motherboard for a PCIe slot before purchasing. Otherwise you’ll have to return it. Installing it was rather easy too.

Upgraded my old PC with this Acer FA100 256GB NVMe drive, and the difference is night and day! Windows boots in seconds, and programs load almost instantly. It's a huge step up from my old SATA SSD. The 256GB capacity isn't massive, but it's perfect as a dedicated OS drive paired with a larger storage drive. This is a fantastic value option if you want a noticeable speed improvement without breaking the bank. Really happy with the performance for the price.
