"The first neon tubes were used to illuminate the Grand Palais in Paris in this year." "Phoenicians, sent by an Egyptian pharaoh, circumnavigate the continent of Africa in this year." If you answered 1965, 1910, and circa 600 B.C., you're on a winning streak in Chronology, the trivia game for history wonks and time travelers. Of course, not many people will get these dates exactly right: the fun lies in getting them "righter" than your opponents. 480 cards have landmark dates for just about everything human beings have ever done, in virtually every field of endeavor. This simple but addictive game is for two to eight players. --Richard Farr Review: Fun game, easy to learn! - This game arrived quickly and in original packing as promised. The game is fun for almost all ages, about 12 and up, and requires almost no rules to learn. The goal is simply to place the events in chronological order. Rather than play against one another, we play as a group and try to beat our previous record of cards (events) lined up correctly. This means we can play with even younger players and no one feels bad about not knowing the answers. As a bonus, we learn about history. Great game! Review: Fun game! - This is a fun game, especially for people over 40 or for people who have a history interest. It doesn't take long, but is fun. The purpose of the game is to correctly place 10 cards, each with a separate historical event, in the proper historical sequence. It takes some thought and exercise to place the cards in the proper sequence. It is fun and we generally learn something new each game.

Excellent Game
I had played this game before with a board game group so I bought it for family game night. Our extended family has played it a couple of times now and love it. Everyone from 20 something's to 90 year old grandpa find it fun. It is interesting to learn when these historical events occurred. And you do not have to know the exact year of an event. You just have to decide where it fits in your timeline.

Fun Game!
This game is lots of fun for any number of players. Even more than they say. There are enough cards that you don't memorize them. It doesn't matter if you know history or not. Guessing is just as much fun as knowing. Great ice breaker at a party!

great game
I got this for my mom for Christmas. She loves it because it's one of the few games she can get my dad to play. You have to think to play the game but he doesn't have to pay attention to what other players are doing so he can keep track of the football game when it's not his turn.

A great history lesson...
I was never a history buff (even though Mr. Ryan made it really fun in junior high), but this game is great. The rules and premise of the game make it easier for you to guess when events happened if you don't know the real date. I've had a lot of "So THAT'S when it happened!" with it. Enjoy! ~ Natasha
