This Rubbermaid 3-Step Folding Ladder has quickly become one of my favorite household tools. It feels incredibly sturdy and well-balanced, even on the top step, and the wide treads give you great confidence while reaching higher shelves or changing lightbulbs. The hand grip at the top is a thoughtful touch — it makes climbing and steadying yourself so much easier. I also love how easily it folds flat and tucks neatly into a closet or behind a door. The white finish looks clean and blends right in with my home décor. A perfect combination of safety, quality, and practicality — highly recommend!

This step stool is very sturdy and feels secure. It's easy to fold and unfold, so it doesn't take up much storage space but is convenient to use. The handle is a good height to hold onto while stepping up and down, and is a perfect height for me to reach those upper cabinet shelves.

I am 5'5" and this super stable, comfortable ladder's handle hits just above my knees so I feel completely stable without holding on to anything. The top step is wide enough...I feel like I am standing on the floor. The tray is well thought out with holes for screwdrivers to be secure plus screws, nuts, whatever inside a covered compartment makes it possible to move the ladder with everything in place ( not falling off). A quality Rubbermaid product I should have bought years ago.

Very good but very heavy?

I went thru 2 dozen descriptions of iffy Chinese shacky ladders! I am a overweight retires US electrician. I am not about in my retirement ti fall off a ladder? And, die or be cripppled with a broken hip? Like most tradesmen, I trust the proven brand. I was not disappointed, sturdy, well made & of course a little hefty but how else do you make it safe? Yes, the Rubbermaid cleats on the ends of the ladder clinched it for me! I opted for the tool tray version in case I did't need my tool belt. The same price as the cheap junk ladder but you get peace of mind & safety! I'm impressed with Rubbermaid commitment to quality from my Mom's old food containers to decades later of superior products!

I have to say this step stool is everything I've been searching for in a step stool. It's quite tall, I'm 5'4" and the top of my head is an inch from my ceiling when I'm on the highest step. Yet it's still compact enough to store easily (we store ours in that small gap between the fridge and cupboards). It's lightweight enough that most women and children 10 and up should be able to maneuver it with ease. The step stool seems to be constructed well, seems very sturdy, and you can feel it lock into place adding an extra sense of security, oh and don't forget the grip bar at top just incase you start tipping back and need to grab ahold. Now, to my favorite feature the project tray which includes a mini storage box to hold all those little necessities you find yourself having to go up and down for on every project...no more getting down to pick up the screw you forgot or dropped, no more having to search every where for the nails you just had before climbing up, and no more having to locate screws and nails before starting your project since they will already be with the step stool locked in securely at the top waiting and ready to go!! The project tray also has a spot for a large paint can and holes to hold screw drivers during project. Let me tell you what a great feature and real time saver not to mention how much frustration and stress it eliminates! My only dislike is that its a little stiff to up open and fold up, however I'm sure with a few uses it will loosen up and if not its nothing a little WD-40 can't handle but I'm sure it won't come to that. All n All I absolutely love it and would highly recommend to anyone in need of a step stool for around the house, garage, yard, or office to invest in the Rubbermaid RMS-3T 3-Step Steel Step Stool with Project Tray!

This stepladder was just what I wanted: heavy duty, easy to use, perfect size for getting up into high cupboards and very stable. I especially appreciate being able to reach down and grab the bar if I get a little dizzy. I'm 78 so that feature is a real necessity since I suffer a little from vertigo. I have a stepladder on all three floors of my home and this is the best one and my favorite.

The Rubbermaid stepladder is able to fold easily and is a very great product. I feel safe standing on the highest step reaching things on the top cabinet. It has a handle that you can grip to balance. The only thing is that it is heavy, but it's because it is made of metal and that makes sense if you want something sturdy and to hold your entire body weight. I would definitely recommend buying this product if you are looking for a reliable step ladder.

Very sturdy and easy to open and close.

Muy buena escalera, se siente sólida la construcción de acero, me gustó lo ancho de los escalones, de hecho por eso la escogí aunque cueste más. Las gomitas agarran muy bien y no sientes que se vaya a resbalar, ocupa muy poco espacio, tanro así que la caja donde viene tiene menos de 10 cm de anchom ya la escalera en sí, no lo he medido, pero yo creo ronda los 8 cm de ancho cuando está plegada. La marca lo dice todo, y es garantía de diseño y calidad.

A very study item. Insofar as how heavy it is to pick up and move....if you were perhaps older or a smaller person, you may find it a bit heavy. But it is very well made, sturdy and secure. The foot step pads are a nice size. It is nice that it has rubber feet for the floor. Having a grab handle at the top is also a nice feature. This will be great for a safe ascent to those high shelves.
