Absolutely fabulous strainer, large enough for a good amount of flour, rice to strain without anything left over. Can be hung up or fitted easily in a cupboard.

Absolutely perfect! I needed to wash quinoa and when I used my current sieve it all went through the holes into the sink- disaster! Who knew that you could buy sieves with different mesh size. Delighted that with this new purchase all my quinoa was successfully washed and not one grain lost! It also arrived very promptly-thank you.

Fed up with standard strainers where the handle is spot welded to the frame. Invariably the weld gives way. This strainer has a solid metal handle bolted to the rim so should give years of use. Only complaint is that it was not well packaged (just put in a paper bag) and arrived with the mesh half caved in. I managed to push the mesh back into shape so it is nearly even. Hence, 4 stars.

The best sieve ever. It is very fine mesh and is a large sieve. Just right for removing small pips when making jam and big enough to get the job done quickly.

Very well, made better than expected

Very good quality but I had to return it it was to big for me .

I have been looking for a large metal sieve with fine mesh for a while, I could only find plastic ones. This is the right size for my needs, I use it to wash dried hibiscus flowers and I am able to strain from my large cooking pot to the other quite easily. It’s easy to handle and lightweight. Good value for money

This strainer is not as tough as advertised. The mesh is already broken after light usage for the month. Please see photos.

I make large batches of tea, 20 cups qt a time. I put my existing coarser sieve inside this sieve and sieve out the tea leaves. The tea leaves are pressed down to extract all the flavor. The sieve is strong enough to withstand the pressure of pressing down and the weight of the wet tea leaves. The inner sieve catches most of the leaves, but some dust gets through. This sieve catches those leaving clear tea. If you use a cloth to sieve tea or wine (port), you get out all the impurities but also strip all the flavor, so you don’t want to do that. You want a sieve fine enough to remove the impurities but not so fine as to strip the flavor. This sieve is perfect.
