Dorman 523-074 Front Lower Suspension Control Arm Bushing Compatible with Select BMW Models, 1 Pair

The rubber bushings are facing 180’ wrong direction.... both mounts.Sad , simple things and still can screw it up.:(

Seriously, c'mon people! Look at the pic. It's really all you need. You want trying to get it done quickly? Good luck! Ain't gonna happen! The manufacturer can't simply QC the stuff they sell at a premium. Returning tomorrow.

The only reason I bought these was because I didn't want to deal with pressing the bushings out and back in. Unfortunately, as others have stated, the bushings were not aligned in the housing. It defeats the purpose of buying this item at a premium. It is much cheaper to just buy the bushings and use the old bracket from the car since you are going to end up using a bushing press anyway.

Watch when you install make sure the bushing is in the right position. As I compared with the one on the car and the bushing was backwards. Had to take them to a machine shop to have them pressed out and reinstalled in the right position. There should at least be a disclaimer warning if the problem .
