Works but Over-Priced
After looking at an aluminum version of the TBI pod spacer on another site, I came here and mistakenly purchased this spacer thinking that it was also a metal part. I was wrong. It is made of an (admittedly heavy-duty) plastic, not machined metal.For $35 I was expecting a lot more, as this part can be had for half that other places.Otherwise, it fits nicely, and does come with what appear to be good-quality screws.A word of advice: if you are purchasing the Standard Motor Products TBI Rebuild kit (Amazon item # B000C7WMVQ) at the same time, I would probably skip this spacer as the rebuild kit also contains 3 plastic gaskets/spacers. Two of which, when stacked up,equal the height of this unit.

Results depends on your airflow needs
This product does exactly what it's intended to do. It raises your injector pod a little farther out of the airflow path. Whether it makes a noticeable difference or not depends on how modified you already are. A stock setup may not notice anything. If you have higher flowing heads then you'll almost certainly have a need for more airflow through the unit. This will correspond to a more noticeable improvement. And for those of you complaining about it not being aluminum. Not sure where you got your metallurgy degree but it absolutely is aluminum. And if it wasn't, it would be to isolate the injector pod from engine heat which would be(albeit mildly) advantageous.
