Caligraphy Practice Paper/Workbook: Hand Lettering Workbook for Beginners

Good quality and very useful

excellent for a beginner calligrapher. Grandson delighted.

I recently attended a course on modern calligraphy and wanted some practice paper.. It is good paper, smooth for writing on and there are plenty of pages so good value for the price. I would have preferred the pages to be perforated so I could tear them out and use them on my clipboard because they are bound in the book and printed on both sides. It is difficult to write on the reverse when you turn the page over because you have the middle of the book lying under your wrist. So, I’m going to work on the front side and then tear out the page and use the reverse side on my clipboard. For that reason I have dropped a star. Otherwise, very happy.

I bought this particularly as it said there was no bleed through. The Ink does bleed through. Have to use card between pages so it doesn't go onto next page. Individual letters bleed, too.

This a really nice lined calligraphy book if you are interested in calligraphy. It has lines and you can write very well.

Although they provide practice on both sides of the page, depending on the quill or brush tip you use, the ink may bleed. This is basically because of the amount of ink being used. If you practice with a caligraphy brush pens, this will not occur due to the amount of ink being used. But I would recommend this for all those attempting to refine their skills in mastering an existing style of writing or practicing new forms.

my ten year old granddaughter is very crafty she is really enjoying this gift as it is a new craft she can learn and us She love designing and drawing so I thought this would challenge her and she has taken the challenge it is a lost art
