Very well made and easy to load in the average SUV
I wanted something that I could load into the back of the SUV to take with me to the lake. When my sailboat is on the hard for the winter the toe rails are well over eight feet above the ground. Even the swim ladder is unreachable without a step ladder when it is in it's stowed position up against the stern. The lowest rung is still four feet off the ground when deployed. Getting on and off the boat can be a challenge, not to mention being able to reach the entire hull for cleaning and waxing. I borrowed a six foot step ladder from someone else in the marina and found it to be just a little too short for working on the hull... and it wouldn't fit in my SUV anyhow. I just unboxed my Little Giant Velocity M13 adjustable ladder. I didn't bother with reading the included instructions before messing around with it. It is heavier than I expected it to be but it is still very manageable. It has about the same weight as my 16' extension ladder, which won't fit in the SUV either. I was very pleasantly surprised at how the hinge latching mechanisms work. Just push them in, they are spring loaded and lock in place, open the hinge and they lock automatically in A frame mode. Push them again, they lock in their released position, and you just continue unfolding the hinge until they automatically lock in the extension ladder configuration. The locking mechanisms for extending the legs work the same way, easy and secure. Very easy, very secure. I went up and down both sides of this ladder while it was in it's step ladder configuration as well as up and down it when it was fully extended as an extension ladder. Solid enough for me, I'm over 200lbs, and I'm kind of fussy... I used to paint houses. You need to be able to trust your ladder. This is an awesome little ladder.

Versatile ladder with great customer service!
I've used my 26' ladder in several configurations and love it. It's extremely sturdy and durable in any configuration, and can be safely handled by one person (although for some jobs, 2 is a good idea). It's been great to have for indoor and outdoor work around the house. I've had to contact Little Giant customer service for an issue and their response was polite, quick, and they immediately worked to resolve my ladder's issue under warranty. It didn't cost me a thing. My particular ladder had a defect in one of the two latching mechanisms, which meant that when the ladder was extended one of the latches would give way even with minimal weight on it. The second latching mechanism would keep the extension in place enough that I didn't fall, but the ladder didn't feel secure to stand on. I contacted customer service, which is available online and by phone, and submitted a claim. They asked for my contact information and then sent me a message asking for any details about the issue. They had the option to email or text pictures/video of the problem, which made explaining the problem really simple. I wish all companies had such modern ways to make warranty claims! I was able to communicate directly with the engineer assigned to my case and, after they reviewed my video of the problem, they approved a new ladder extension to be sent out to me at their own expense. I really couldn't be happier with their customer service or their product.

fantastic! Very useful!
As a new homeowner, I needed a ladder or ladders. I had been looking at a small step ladder and a larger ladder to use for getting on the roof / cleaning gutters etc. This was a great find. It is sturdy, easy to use and very versatile. I have used it inside to clean and work on light fixtures. I use it outside to clean gutters and fix siding. It is more adjustable than I originally expected and can be used with one side straight, putting you closer to what you are working on. It is light enough to lug around (or use the built in wheels to drag it a distance) and easy enough to fully extend and place against my home to get up to the roof (single story home). Other reviews have suggested it is heavy / cumbersome to do this but from my experience, this is just as simple as any other ladder. Possibly easier as this is pretty light compared to other ladders I have used. Currently this is the only ladder I own and I am able to use it for all projects I need a ladder for, big or small. I am someone who does not enjoy being on ladders, so for me a sturdy ladder is a must. I do not get a nervous feeling on this ladder. It feels solid. I also like that the top gets wider like the bottom. This makes it easier to get on/off a roof. I highly recommend this ladder. I bought it as a lightening deal for a great price, but it would be worth the money at regular price.

Little Giant Velocity M13 Multi-Position Ladder - Quality and Versatility - 4/5 Rating
I recently acquired the Little Giant Ladder Systems Velocity M13, a 13-foot multi-position ladder, and I have found it to be a great addition to my toolkit. Overall, I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars. The ladder's build quality is impressive, reflecting the Little Giant brand's commitment to excellence. The aluminum construction ensures durability and longevity, making it a reliable choice for various tasks around the house or workplace. One notable feature of this ladder is its multi-position functionality, allowing it to adapt to different heights and configurations. This versatility has proven to be highly beneficial, especially for my specific needs of reaching a 10-foot ceiling on the second-to-last step. However, at that height, I did notice a slight discomfort in stability. While it gets the job done, the ladder doesn't provide the most reassuring feeling at that elevation. It's important to consider this aspect, especially if you're close to my height of 5'9". For ceilings in the 8-9-foot range, the ladder's performance would likely be more optimal and comfortable. Despite the minor concern at the higher height, the Little Giant Velocity M13 ladder remains a sturdy and dependable tool. Its ability to accommodate different configurations and its solid construction make it a versatile option for various tasks, from painting and repairs to maintenance and beyond. In conclusion, the Little Giant Velocity M13 Multi-Position Ladder is a high-quality and versatile tool that delivers on its promises. While it may not provide the most ideal experience at its maximum height for individuals of certain heights, it excels at lower elevations and offers reliable performance overall. If your tasks generally involve ceilings in the 8-9-foot range, this ladder would be an excellent choice for your needs. Sincerely, Mark

Wow!!!
Not all Ladders were created equal, who knew? After hearing great things about this company and really needing a Good, Solid Ladder, I did my research and went with the Little Giant 17 foot Velocity and I am completely shocked by what a difference a good solid ladder makes plus, blown away by the quality, versatility and even the accessories offered. There are even video tutorials on YouTube from the company as well as videos from many other Happy Customers too. I feel so much safer since I purchased this ladder as it makes jobs I used to fear, like cleaning out my gutters, so much easier now compared to my older ladder and the way it would shake, even start to give slightly when I got higher up, that’s what was causing my fears and rightfully so. This Ladder offers different ways to use it and I no longer fear cleaning my gutters (I didn’t say I like cleaning gutters, just that this ladder is planted so solidly and stays securely in place that my fear is gone, total game changer). You get what you pay for and while these ladders are a bit higher than the cheap ones, the others are just that “cheap ones”. It’s hard to talk about ladders, I mean it’s a ladder right? That’s what I used to think but, not anymore so, I recommend you check out a few of the ladder reviews on YouTube, not from any of the Companies but, the “Handyman Types” with their comparisons and then see what you think. I also recommend you watch the “Little Giant” videos as they have several types of ladders to choose from. I thought buying a ladder was as simple as going to Home Depot or similar and looking for the height you need and pick between metal or wood but, I was very very wrong. A Ladder is something you should buy only once as it should last a lifetime and cover all your needs and future needs too. Do your research, buy a Quality Ladder, it might cost you a bit more but, buy once and it should be the last ladder you buy, at least that’s my feeling now since this purchase. It sounds a bit ridiculous as we are talking about a Ladder yet, I was and still am extremely happy with the purchase of my Little Giant Velocity 17 foot ladder and I still smile every time I take it out and use it (sounds crazy right? Still true and I’m not a crazy person, I think I’m not, I hope…, lol). I highly recommend this Ladder and this Company and couldn’t be happier with my purchase as well as the Little Giant accessories I bought for it. 2 Thumbs Up 👍 👍

chirp, chIRP...CHIRRRP!!! - A vaulted ceiling nightmare
Every new homeowner's nightmare. I have 25-28 ft ceilings in my great room. Unfortunately the hard-wired smoke detector mounted at the very highest point in the vaulted ceiling started chirping. chirp, chIRP...CHIRRRP!!! I called everyone to come and change it. Electricians, Handymen, my friend's brother who has a construction company. Everyone denied having a ladder that could reach it. I and my 2 yr old Labrador retriever were slowly loosing our collective marbles. I'm female, 5'11 and 135 lbs. I wrestled this ladder from the dirt at the end of the driveway into the open trunk of a mid-size sedan and then into the house. A quick perusal of You-Tube identified the safety concerns and operation of the locking mechanisms. Still in my work blouse, culottes and sensible, low-heeled pumps I managed to get it into the un-extended A-frame configuration and climbed it beyond the "safe" step. Even armed with my up-ended Swiffer wet-mop (the rubber surface grips the face of the detector and can turn it to free it from the bracket, well...in theory at least) I could barely graze the smoke detector. I began to despair ever having quiet in my home again. However, as I glared at the ladder it became clear that it could be further extended in the A-Frame configuration. (Yeah, There were probably instructions somewhere but I was a woman on a mission.) As other's have commented it is heavy and awkward to extend it against gravity but by tipping it onto its side it can be easily extended even by someone of my stick-figure proportions. After getting another foot or so of height from it I climbed it again. Sweet, Sweet, Joy!!! I could easily reach detector with the swiffer. I wedged my butt into the gap of the top step and attacked again. I must say that the ladder felt quite sturdy beneath me and tolerated my Don Quixote broom swinging antics with minimal creaking. I was able to land a solid blow and knock it from the bracket and then prise it free from the snap-connector wire with the handy wet mop. I feared momentarily for my upturned face but it tumbled harmlessly to the floor. A clear victory for my sanity. I will never be able to remount it there but I'll probably live longer this way. I'll trust the safety of my home to the five other (lower) detectors that I can now easily reach and maintain with my little giant ladder.

Very happy
Earlier this year purchased a super ladder that has a scaffold option and multiple options use. I didn't know about this company yet. Saw a commercial and always kept the hope I’d need another size so I could consider Little Giant. That moment arrived I needed a ladder for the porch roof to get onto the roof to work on the dormer. The house is a square two-floor design from 1900 with a pyramid roof and dormer facing front. I've also used it for painting the lower floor of the house outside quickly since it's so easy to move. I especially like that I can stand on the top when it's folded about five feet tall in half. The paint can holder with lots of little holders made painting a joy because everything I needed was there to grab while on the ladder. I bought the two-gallon paint holder for the roller, too, but haven't used it yet. I also bought the safety bracket that helps the ladder be sturdy when fully extended. Makes this ladder very versatile for all renovation projects under the first floor. The other ladder can cover the top floor and more labor-intensive ceiling projects for installing tin, peel, and stick, working on lighting, etc. The sale price was epic. Encouraged me to take the plunge. This is a high quality ladder from my experience of decades on different style ladders for projects. Besides the other which was a fantastic price bar none for what I got. This is my favorite. Overall for versatility and quality. Plus, attachment options have made my life easier and less stressful while working. I'm so happy I bought this ladder ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯
