To Sir, with Love

This destroyed me!
In all the best ways. Now I usually like my romance pretty spicy, so I don’t read a lot of this author, but the plot caught my eye, and I love a good enemies to lovers. The writing is exquisite the characters damn near perfect, and the emotions strong. I’m pretty sure I cried through most of the book, but all in a good way if you’re looking for a top notch romance, even without the spice, it’s totally worth it.

You've Got Mail Fans...This Is For You!
This book is definitely a strong "You've Got Mail" vibe, but substitute a champagne shop for the book store. The good news is... I LOVE that movie, so I enjoyed this book! Gracie and Sebastian (in person) and Lady and Sir(via dating app) have such a great chemistry. I love the two sides of their personalities coming together and the swoony feeling as they realize the connection they've unknowingly been creating online. This quick read will put a smile on your face.

Witty, sexy, a pleasure to read!
This story had me the beginning. Gracie’s family and friends are wonderful characters and Sir and Sebastian are what I love in a good H. I downloaded this book a couple of months ago and have been wanting to read it. Saturday I finally did and I could not put it down! I kept thinking about the character and how charming everyone is including Cannoli the cat. The love story is sweet, sexy, and adorable. The texts between Sir and Gracie are great not too long but it gives you all the feels of flirting in a fun way. Gracie and Sebastian are sexy attractive and you can feel the tension. Their encounters are always tense but there are also great moments, the cooking class was a hoot. This is how romantic comedy writing should be done light, fun, but with a great story with character development. Highly, highly recommend this book! Would give it 100 starts is possible.

Fine but not as good as You've Got Mail
I've read this book twice now--once when I picked it up for fun and once as part of a book club. I have several friends that LOVE this book, but for me, it is just an okay read. If my book club hadn't picked it, I would not have read it a second time.I love You've Got Mail and the original The Shop Around the Corner, and to me, this pales in comparison to those two. There are some cute interactions between Gracie and Sebastian, and the messages on the dating app are cute tie-ins to the chapters. However, Gracie has many childish moments and reactions, and while she later admits to and apologizes for her childish behavior, her actions and reactions make it more difficult for me to find her endearing.Overall, the book is missing a wow factor for me.At a glance:- Single POV (with the exception of the messages in the app)- Epistolary- Enemies-to-lovers / strangers-to-lovers- Kissing only- New York CityContent warning: deceased parents, familial obligations

I loved this!
I absolutely loved this book. If you liked the movie “You’ve Got Mail” you will love this book. It’s a little corny but so sweet and uplifting. I tore thru this in a day. Sometimes you need a sweet book to palette cleanse from other weird stuff you’re reading, or you need to cheer up and To Sir, With Love is it!

gives you those awe moments
To Sir, with Love is such a cute unique meet cute read. I got a lot of those awe moments while reading this one. I love Gracie's spirit and spunk. Her family means everything and you will just love how she tries her hardest to hold onto it. You feel the love and passion throughout this one when it comes to Gracie and her fairytale love. Sebastian at first it was hard to get a feel on him. But as everything begin to unfold you are so drawn to him. You are pulled in every time Gracie and Sebastian have a run in. There are so many sweet moments that you are just going to fall in love with. I fell hard for Sebastian and Gracie. I could not get enough of this one. Go one click now.

Just as good a story as the ones that came before
I first encountered this story in musical form: Judy Garland and Van Johnson In the Good Old Summertime. I followed it up with the sadder Shop Around the Corner. And, of course, the problematic You’ve Got Mail. I might like this one the most. Certainly, Sebastian is the sweetest hero in any of these stories, and the parallel storylines of both the heroine’s and those around her are more fleshed out with more satisfying outcomes.A word for longtime Lauren Layne fans—this is not one of her steamy ones you are used to. This still has the banter, butterflies, and longing, but there’s 0 sex. Disney could make this into a movie without changing a thing.

Isn’t Romantic …
A fairytale come to life. So very gosh darn sweet …a very sloooowww burn but no heat, no steam however a HEA set in Disney dreams. A departure from my usual reads but a good read that kept me invested. The reveal was very swoon worthy!
