It's thin and soft, like a string. It doesn't provide any support. I was very surprised when it arrived - it loks NOTHING like in the pictures. It really bad! Also, it's difficult to send it back as it doesn't fit in the original packaging.

I bought this pillow in my first trimester as I thought I might need to test out a few. But I loved it straight away and have slept with it every night. Now that I’m toward the end of my second trimester and sleeping has become more uncomfortable, I’m even more in love with it. I even put it on the couch with me sometimes and carry it outside for if I want to lounge in the sun. It’s easy enough to wash and put the cover back on. I wash it weekly and sometimes twice a week as I find I drool in my sleep lol. I just ensure the back rest is properly tucked to avoid me rolling into my back. It is quite big. We have a double bed and my husband says it takes up half the space. Although, I often find him cuddling it it in the middle of the night and have even caught him taking a nap in it!

I was apprehensive about buying this pillow as the description says that the pillow covering is soft velvet. This was a gift for my son who is on the Autism spectrum and is a sensory seeker so the fabric/texture of an item is very important. I read a few reviews saying that the material is not as described so i decided to chance it and return it if it was not right. Much to my delight the reviews are 100% right, the material is a light grey, very soft cotton fabric which is perfect for my son! The pillow just fit's on a single bed so it is quite big. The filling is exaggerated on the picture's, the pillow is nowhere near as full as it shows in any of the amazon UK picture's. The picture's of the pillows posted from other countries seem to be more accurate so the discrepancies are maybe by which country/manufacturer they're coming from. The pillow is filled to a comfortable level for my son and he can literally form a cocoon around himself so we will be keeping it. I recommend this product even though it is nothing like the description or picture's!

I ordered this cushion because I wanted to be able to lie or sit up on my couch when I was in pain due to my rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia. It cradles my entire body and once I’m lying in and around it I can’t move for being so comfy and that has never happened in the 14 years of pain. It can be used in so many ways so I just played about with it to find my best position. It came in a vacuum bag so was puzzled to begin with but I just left it out for a few hours and it was ready to go.Sorry for the long review but I so wished I had discovered it years ago

I am not pregnant but I bought this because a) I'm a bit of a pillow hugger at night (much to the annoyance (ahem jealousy) of my boyfriend (he's a twitcher, I don't want to hug something that twitches all night haha). I am also suffering with a chronic trapped nerve in my arm from an old tennis injury so I often wake up in pain - hugging pillows tends to reduce this. So when I saw this product - even though it's for maternity, I knew I had to give it a go. It works really well - once you can get into the packaging..... it's like Fort Knox haha but I was let with a huge vacuum bag that I can now use for my recycling :). The pillow is large so finding a home for it has been a struggle. The only thing I would say could be better is that the arms are a little thin. They aren't thin in terms of size but the stuffing could be better. However, the fabric is really soft and I have used it for more that just sleeping. It is a good sofa pillow and I can wrap it around myself if I choose to work on my laptop from the sofa. It is very cozy and comfortable. It has been a good addition to my house!

Not enough stuffing the crushed velvet cover feels awful not worth it for me. Also if you get warm easily don't buy as this pillow seems to retain heat I couldn't use it for more than 5 minutes and I was sweating.Further update I've come up with a rash after coming into contact with this pillow.Further update: the seller got in touch with me and gave me a full refund without having to return the pillow so my 1 star goes to 5 stars purely because of their excellent customer service and responsiveness to my emails.

I'm not pregnant - I have back problems. Over the years I have used a variety of pillows and cushions to try to keep myself in a comfortable position during the night. Each time you roll over you have to rearrange the pillows. This pregnancy pillow has been terrific. I use it the wrong way up with the bottom of the U shape by my feet (so I can raise my feet if lying on my back). Which ever side I roll on to there is a pillow in the right place. The pillow case is lovely and soft. Additionally, it arrives in a tiny package, and it's quite fun watching it expand when you take it out.

15 weeks pregnant and I started to get a really big bump. I wasn't able to sleep without 4 pillows anymore and I was always waking up at night trying to fit a comfortable position. My husband got me this one and I must say: saved my nights!! I can sleep an entire night without feeling uncomfortable.The pillow arrives really well packed and you need to allow a few hours to "grow". Once that process is complete, it's absolutely perfect.Definitely recommend!
