Awesome solution to pull more air into the room!
Quiet, nice hum. This thing really moves the air when at high speed, so I keep it at mid or lower setting. This unit `was my solution to pull cold air upstairs to my addition in Florida. Before I found this solution, it was sweltering upstairs in summer. We put the unit in line with the ductwork and mounted it to the rafters so there was no ceiling vibration. This is the third time I have installed one of these because I have three ducts splitting from the AC trunk to three spaces upstairs. Now, all my air conditioning dreams have come true! It is nice and cool upstairs! The units run all day long. Love this product and would give it a higher rating off there was one! My next plan is to use one of these to pull more heat to my downstairs in my old, drafty historic home in Utah!`

Designed for easy install/replacement
This booster has a very clever (good) mechanical design allowing for easy installation. The fan unit itself, is separate from the end nozzles, and can be removed by simply loosening some ring clamps. I was also happy to learn that the fan remembers the last used speed setting. I've installed this in a soffit with limited access to the speed controller. I'm turning it on and off by switching the power to the unit by powering it from the EAC (electronic air cleaner) output from the furnace, which turns on whenever the furnace blower is running. I've installed it inline to a 6" duct running up to a 2nd floor bedroom. Running on the #3 speed setting, and noise is not a problem, and it significantly boosts the air flow. Great design. So far working great after several months of operation.

My favorite option for a grow on a budget
Truthfully, if you're on a budget and still want that superior product, this is simply the best option. You don't need a fancy controller to start. You can start with this fan with its simple click controller and eventually work your way up, which is exactly what I did.I started by ordering this and the AC Infinity 6" Carbon Filter. Which is all you really need to run a good flower. However once you get your feet wet in your new environment and you want to start paying attention to things like VPD and regulate the climate, you can then upgrade to a more advanced AC Infinity controller! I upgraded to the Controller 67 and I'm eventually looking to upgrade to the 69 Pro. The fan comes with everything in the box that you need to connect it to the UIS AC infinity controllers. Now onto how I feel about this fan? I feel it's an absolute lifesaver. Speaking AFTER my previously mentioned upgrades, I am properly able to regulate & control the climate inside of my tent and achieve a proper VPD for flowering and my plants seem to love it! I use the 6" in a 4x4 and it works well, the only time I struggle is during lights off when the plants transpire water. I do think because of this, I would probably eventually upgrade this unit to the 8", However I would still stay with the Lite line. I really appreciate the flexibility in different ways you are able to use these fans with so many different controller options.I would recommend this to anybody looking for a GOOD quality budget inline fan for their grow set up.

An essential upgrade for your CO2 laser exhaust system—this ventilation fan is a must-have!
I use the Monport 80W CO2 Laser, and the stock exhaust fan just wasn’t cutting it—I needed an upgrade. After some searching, I ordered the AC Infinity CLOUDLINE A6, and the difference is incredible! This fan efficiently pulls out smoke, keeping my work area clear and breathable. The speed control is a nice feature, but I keep it on the highest setting to ensure maximum smoke removal while my laser is running. As for noise, it’s surprisingly quiet, even at full power—you can hear it working, but it’s not distracting or overly loud.If you’re running a CO2 laser and need a reliable exhaust fan, I highly recommend this one. It’s a must-have upgrade that significantly improves airflow and keeps your workspace smoke-free!

strong and powerful
I'm using this to divert some air from a mini split from a basement area to a first floor. The performance is impressive. The only pitfall is that it is actually loud. It's a white noise so I don't find it objectionable but it is definitely apparent at the higher settings.

Great Booster fan!
Bought this unit to replace a low-cost booster fan for my home HVAC system. The lower cost unit worked well but was very noisy. I was able to run this unit at a speed of 3 or 4 and it produced the same amount of air as the lower cost unit but was much quieter. With a speed setting of 3 it's almost impossible to hear. I have this unit wired up to the humidifier or Electronic Air Cleaner switched output on the furnace which is rated to 1amp each. This unit draws about 0.5amp at full speed and about 0.2amps on the speed setting of 4. If you want this unit to fit to the standard round 6" duct work, you will need to have both ends of the 6" duct work crimped. An uncrimped end of the duct work is too big.

Persists memory setting with power removed
I used it as a return vent booster in my house, works great. And it remembers the speed setting. It’s low noise; But not silent. Been running for 6 months now. I am happy with it. However I might want one that fits the duct work. Quite a lot of gap and duct tape were used.. however I think there are other models that are used for home hvac specifically.
