Our stove hood doesn't have a light, so I was looking for something we could easily install to shed some light on my wife's great cooking. I bought this, as it fit my requirements: totally cordless, easily mounted, LED, rechargeable. Should have been the end of the story, right? Light comes, all good? Yes, but I'm delighted to say there's much more.First, the styling of this light is way too nicer for this price point. It looks like something out of a modern design magazine. And the feel of it, which, to be honest, I expected to be a little cheap, is anything but. Solid, smooth, more metal than plastic, and elegant. I was also pleasantly surprised to find not just one mount, but two! Nice to have a backup, another touch I would not have expected for a light at this price. Finally, the light is really bright, and you can dim it if you want, but the nicest part? When you turn it off, it doesn't just turn off, it FADES TO BLACK. I know luxury cars that don't even do that, and it's a hell of a touch. Add in the ability to turn it on/off with either a touch or the included remote, the timers....man, this light punches way above it's weight class.

It's a very good light. Easy to install and operate. No drilling or tool is needed.You can have it plugged in to a USB port or use its build in battery.It's bright enough for hall way or kitchen counter or closet. If you plan to use it as the only light for a whole room it won't do it.

This light is pretty cool. I use it for crafting leather and vinyls. It’s BRIGHT on high and still bright on low which is great so you don’t have to have your face practically on the item your working with.It has a adjustable magnet to move the light as you need. It does not bend like an over head light. This makes it so much easier to use.When the light is done charging the red light goes away. The remote gives you timer options which is cool in case you get pulled away and forget to turn it off.I wish it came with a box thing for the charger since I don’t just have a USB port everywhere. I had to hunt a box charger down.

Installed opposite microwave. Works great and very easy and quickly charges

I needed this light for over my bed. I have a California king. and I just needed some more light. I love the remote and I can place the light any were. It sticks up any were, you get two bases for mounting. It is easy to recharge. Can be used like a flashlight if needed.

If you can leave it plugged in all the time, then do so. The battery life is horrible. However, bright enough for what I need it for, simple to use, easy to adjust.

Nice looking it doesn’t last long

The charge on this light only gives you about 30 min of power. I purchased the light for my kitchen, since we frequently have power outages during storms. Unfortunately, it just doesn’t last long enough to be effective. With power plugged in, it does make a good under cabinet light.
