I struggle badly with cracked, painfully dry lips every winter. Not just dry, but the kind that split at the corners and start to hurt, especially when it is cold and windy. On top of that, stress tends to trigger cold sores for me, which makes lip care even more important. If you know, you know. I have tried just about everything over the years. Standard lip balms, medicated sticks, overnight masks, and constant reapplication throughout the day. Most of them either sit on top of my lips or stop working the moment they wear off. This is different. When my lips are at their worst, this is the only thing that actually helps them calm down and heal. It goes on smoothly, does not feel greasy, and starts providing relief quickly. With regular use, my lips feel less painful, less tight, and noticeably better overall. The texture is comfortable, and a little goes a long way. I do not feel the need to constantly reapply it, which is a big improvement over typical lip balms. The tubes are easy to keep on hand in different places, which is helpful since this is something I reach for consistently during colder months. From a value standpoint, the multi-pack makes sense if you deal with severe dryness like I do. It has become a staple for me every winter, and I no longer waste money cycling through countless other products that do not work. Overall, if you deal with severely chapped, painful lips and feel like nothing else helps, this balm is absolutely worth trying. It has made a real difference for me when my lips need more than basic moisture.

I have some scar tissue on my lower lip from when it split one winter. Unless I'm very careful to use lip balm regularly, this area of my lip will form a stubborn dry patch that is very difficult to heal. I would apply lip balm or vaseline almost constantly throughout the day, and if I forgot to apply it, the dry area would split again. I actually thought I had actinic chelitis and went to a dermatologist. They recommended I use hydrocortisone ointment (not cream) 'many times per day' for a few days to get it to heal. This worked perfectly; the dry patch of skin fell off within 24 hours, and my lip healed completely over the next week or so. The dry patch comes back if I'm not careful to use lip balm in cold/dry weather, but I can nip it in the bud by using the hydrocortisone ointment. The only drawback was that the ointment was annoying to apply, greasy, and made my lip shiny. It also didn't stay in place for very long, meaning I had to keep reapplying it quite often. Then I discovered Cortibalm. It has the same strength hydrocortisone as the ointment I was using, and is just as effective, but it is so much more convenient to use. It's easier to apply, and stays in place much longer. It also doesn't make my lip shiny like the ointment did. It is kind of expensive for a lip balm, but it is no ordinary lip balm.

Let me tell ya, I have forever dry lips and I have tried every brand imaginable. (I should also probably try and drink alot more water) but either way they are always dry and unplump or wrinkled. One of my interns suggested this to me and what did I have to lose, so I tried it. This is the ONLY chapstick I buy now. I dont have to apply as much throughout the day and I apply at night before sleeping and wake up with juicy, hydrated lips that look full. 10/10!!!!

This chap stick is my go-to. It's the only chap stick that has never disappointed me. I love the way it's not too sticky like and no matter if I put a small amount to coat my lips it will always hydrate them. I used to use Aquaphor but since trying this I'll never go back. My 7-year-old uses this as well and it has helped so much with his dry lips during the winter months.

Has a weird smell but it does ACTUALLY WORK. I still continue to have an issue with chapped/peeling/raw lips but this does offer relief and heals! Has the consistency of a sun block stick (I usually like more Vaseline) and has weird smell I don’t like but can be covered up with other lip balms/ gloss.

Favorite lip balm for chapped lips. I use it a lot during the day in the winter. Works better than any other lip balm. When lips are severely chapped I use A and D ointment at night.

This product was recommended by my dermatologist! It is wonderful and is now the only lip balm my family uses! It maybe a little more expensive but it is well worth the cost.

I’ve been combating dry skin for a year and a half, and this is definitely one of the best products I’ve used. Of course, a big part of that is because it contains hydrocortisone, but it’s so much better than using it from a tube and stays on for quite a while. This will definitely be a go to product in the future. Just make sure to only use it short term due to the steroid content.

My daughter had tried a lot of lip balms for cracked and dry lips. This is the best one we have tried, instantly started to heal lips. Highly recommend.
