I needed a good set of solid hex security bits to make repairs to playground equipment located on the properties I manage. These fit the bill perfectly! They were very difficult to find locally. Only small security bits were available around town. They come in a nice compact plastic case and have full sets of each SAE (standard) and Metric sized bits. They seem to work well, loosening the large security bits with ease! Shipped quickly and were on-time! Even arrived early! Highly recommended this set! 😄

These are nice, good quality and value, worth it!

I've obtained a motley variety of hex bit sockets over the years, usually on a per-need basis: a differential plug here, a coolant plug there, a suspension fitting here. I wanted a set for uniformity and completion, but since these are so rarely needed by a DIY mechanic, and since I had the ones I really needed already, I didn't want to spend much. I also detest cheaply made or finished tools, so for years I just made do, not being able to justify buying a "nice" set. But for $15, or even slightly more when not on special, this set is a total no-brainer. Few skips, just metric, nicely chromed sockets, straight inserted bits, and a very nice, compact case to tuck it all away until needed. It's mostly smaller and medium sizes. What's missing? There's no 11 mm or 13 mm (not that I have ever needed one), and it stops at 14 mm. I have needed a 17 mm before, which is outside the range of this kit. But since I already have one, no complaints. Amazing quality for the price. Compared to the Pittsburgh set I looked at in person these are much, much nicer in finish quality, include 13 rather than 9 sockets, and includes a case. For the same price! (The only advantage perhaps is that the HF Pittsburgh set does include a 17 mm).

Sockets are great. Nice fit on the ratchet at all sizes. Let’s be honest, the only thing I’m worried about is the plastic hinge latch on the case. We all know it’s inevitable that they will break but for now they seem to be holding up.
