Busted

I bought this for my 12 year old son who really likes this band and found myself liking them just as much. They remind me of the Undertones (Busted cover one of their songs on this album) in their style and garage band sound. Sure beats a lot of the boring stuff that's around these days.

Great CD great to hear all their hits

In 2002 boybands followed then the same traits they had since the 90's namely all singing all dancing. That is until Busted came along taking pop punk into boyband territory and also briefly rendering the traditional format outdated. Not only did they change the style and look of boybands but they also changed something that no boyband had manged in the three years prior. They had dethroned Westlife of biggest pop band and denied them having multiple chart toppers whilst Busted saw out their brief but hugely successful reign between 2002 to 2004 before handing over the baton to label mates and similar boyband McFly.Busted were bizarre as they clearly aren't the band they wanted to be (Blink 182) due to knowingly wanting to be a pop rock band and with no issues about being called a boyband.They inspired Jonas Brothers who covered two of their songs and they racked up 4 #1 singles and 8 top ten overall in just two years at the top in the UK. This showing a 50% chart topping hit rate!!!However it's amazing to think that Charlie Simpson who is one of the best young British singer songwriters of his time both solo and as part of metal group Fightstar was even in a group like this with lyrics completly beneath him, but here's the proof!!Simon Cowell also revealed that they were one of only three groups he feels sick passing up and not signing. so like i was like "yo i should get this album" becuz like it was soooo the bomb diggity yo. every1 who was Ne1 wuz tulkin ab0ut it so like every1 in school was like "yo its the diggity yo dawg." if u dont have this cd it probly means your dead or want to be dead or have no friends or your really drunk and have a bad hangover and havunt been awake since october 12th 2004 when diz awEsome CD was like toooootally released the first time and like EvEryonE knew about it!! like i waited in line in london where their from for like TWO DAYS and i kicked some old granny in the kneecaps, she wuz like trying to buy one 4 her grandkids but i was like so awEsomE i was like "yo 4GET about it BEEYATCH!" and i totally kicked her in the E 2 the O. all these jerky boys at the cd store hmv they wuz like tellin me "yo u cant have it cos its not for guys its for little girls with no taste u should buy some guns n roses instead" but i was like "4GET ABBOUDDIT!" beCUz like they were just trying 2 trick me cuz they wanted to buy it for themslves!!!! i knew what they were trying to trick me tho so i was like totally cool and kicked them in the G 2 the O and ran out of the store with the cd.its so cool i've litened to it so many times MCFLY ROCKS!!!oh wait this is busted. oh well BUSTED ROCKS 2!!! LIKE LOTS OF 2'S!!!!

This bunch of disposable teenagers aptly named 'Busted' have become vastly overrated punk-pop jerk-offs in England. Put simply, only 8-12 year old girls like Busted, any older and you have no touch of reality. This is coming from someone tired of hearing the clichéd pop that Busted gaily exploit, with outrageous success as ever from this cesspit of a genre.Each of Busted's singles to date have reached the top 5 over in England, they recieve unbelieveable air-time, recently won the UK Record Of The Year (against other loosers such as McFly and Will Young), worst of all the slugbrow lead singer occasionally wears a TOOL T-Shirt when performing. TOOL stand for the complete opposite of Busted, and it's a disgrace and insult to one of the most original bands around.Lets put it another way, if these school dropouts were in fact 'ugly' people, they wouldn't even get a record contract. Don't bullsh** me that they've got talent, so they play power chords for 556 bars on end and all sing with the same relentless juvinile tone. That's not talent.What it is is marketing, don't fall into the trap.

I have to buy this little fem which contains a few song that I haven't hear for a very long time and it was nice to finally get the chance to buy the album which at a price that I felt I could make because its been 10 years since this album was released and also haven't seen this particular album for the right price, would recommend this album who are fans of busted

Pretty sure my younger sister was a member of Busted after seeing all the posters in her room. Im guessing she liked the purchase. Fast delivery and top quality product!
