Loreal Excel Hicolor H22 Tube Black Sapphire 1.74oz (2 Pack)

I started out in 2001 dying my hair with a box dye, the kind they sell at Walmart. I soon wanted a brighter color of red. The regular dye like this is fine but again I wanted it brighter. So I've been using the hi-lights to cover all of my hair as the above picture. Almost 10 years ago I had to dye my hair every 3 weeks to a month, I was washing my hair way too often. Now I dye it every 3 months cause I wash it once a week. It starts to fade to light pink in which people have actually complimented me on, after about 2.5 months. And no I've never bleached my hair! Picture is with no filters.

I use half of the magenta tube along with half oof the red (same brand) and mix with 2.4 ounces of loreal white volume 30 developer. Add in a couple drops of Agran oil to moisturizer the hair along with red, red sealant, leave it on 30 minutes and rinse off. It's done. (I have naturally deep dark ash brown-a good color on some but it makes me look like one of the walking dead. I have lots of gray anymore, too and this covers that ugly stuff right up) Who wants to be gray if you don't have to? I'm getting old enough without looking in the mirror and seeing that looking back at me. This wonderful colorant I hope never goes out of production because what the heck would I do? It gives me the most beautiful magenta-red violet-blazing hot deep red with just enough light flame red to set me apart from everyone else out there. If you like bright color and have dark brown hair, even with gray in it-and you don't want to spend an hour or two or three working on your hair, then this is the product to try. I've been using it for four years now and I love it just as much today as I did the first time. Oh, yeah, the magenta gives my red a pinkish-violet color mainly noticeable out in the sun or under bright lights. Otherwise, it's this brilliant light to dark red-like a Japanese maple in the fall or the same color my horse was. Blood and Lava. Fire

The product is good for color if you’re looking for a medium-dark red. The downside the product doesn’t seem to last long unless you use a color protection shampoo/conditioner.I do like how the price seems way affordable since you’re getting 3 hair dye boxes vs paying 10 dollars for 1 box at Sally’s.

Received 6pk quickly (had to dye my roots for upcoming event and had not time to go to store). What I really liked also about this purchase is that I struggle with remembering the codes I used when buying at store individually and so now finding it sold as a 6pk, really helps to eliminate that confusion and trying to remember or find out what was previously used. I used 1 bottle and when I noticed this dye didn’t dye my greys, I reached out to seller (a cosmetologist) and was provided detailed information on suggested use and with which developer to use as well as recommendations. Took the advice, made 2nd attempt and am so glad I reached out bc my hair is now a gorgeous brown throughout that I’d been trying to get with other dyes forever. Greys are gone until next dye job. There was no fowl smell and left my hair feeling softer! Really like this dye now. It has not faded at all. Only roots to dye due to growth but color has remained which has not been the case with other permanent dyes.
