When you find that in a sale you can buy 2 inkjet printers with ink cheaper than the manufacturer’s branded ink alone you have got to question the price of ink. Is it some sort of magical elixir of life? Weight for weight it must be close to, or exceed the price of gold. If I had to fuel the car at the same cost per litre I would be better changing the car for one that comes with a tank of fuel and change the car when it runs out of fuel. Ah, and we return to the sale price printers!So the printer manufacturers marketing ploy is obvious:Give away the printer and make your money on the consumable ink. And let’s call it magic ink that is way, way better than all other ink and let’s put an electronic chip on the print cartridges to make it allow the printer to say “Game over” to anyone who dares substitute our magical ink for…. Well just normal ink.Now if you have plenty of disposable income, or you accept the propaganda and scaremongering of printer manufacturers over “inferior inks” or perhaps you want to print large amounts of photographs and you don’t want to jeopardise print quality. Then you are going to ignore this review and I’m not going to convince you otherwise. So go out and buy manufacturers ink. I would however recommend you give this stuff a try and then make your own judgement.However If you fall into the majority and don’t. Then I thoroughly recommend these cartridges. To my eyes they print the same colours, just as accurately on the same range of papers and the cartridges are chipped to keep the printer happy when you replace them. They look the same as the manufacturer’s cartridges and cost substantially less than the same ink, sorry magical ink, that comes in the printer manufacturer’s logo embellished packaging. I have had no issues with these and truly can’t tell the difference. So next time you cost out replacing your ink jet cartridges, compare the price of the manufacturers with these equivalents. With the price difference its worth a shot and the chances are you will be pleasantly surprised and never look back.Let’s face it if the stuff was coloured sludge that ruined printers the supplier would have went out of business long ago and these reviews would be littered with four lettered expletives condemning them.The ONLY criticism I have with these cartridges is it would be handy if the supplier was able to sell the cartridges individually. If you are anything like me the chances are the higher capacity black cartridge tends to outlast the others and it would be nice (and more eco-friendly) to be able to avoid ordering an entire set each time. But this trait tends to be shared by most of the generic ink cartridge suppliers and the savings still make it well worth buying complete replacement sets each time.

Good catridges - good ink capacity they were long lasting and the quality of the print was excellent.

Awful product. Bought 4 packs of the same ink cartrigde set. From the first pack, the black ink cartridge exploded, jetting black ink out everywhere when peeling off the yellow strip. I opened the black in cartridge from the second pack. This worked, but then failed with 50% capacity still showing. Simply no black ink coming out of printer. So, I decided to open the third pack and use the black ink form that. Guess what, that exploded out as if under pressure, just like the first pack. Terrible quality. Utter waste of money. Would give ZERO Starts if possible. Do not buy from this seller. These items are the worst possible quality. They will not only fail, they will jet ink all over your desk, your printer, your clothes. Not worth the money to go for this seller.Amazon thankfully provided a 100% refund on the order. Thank you Amazon!

As good as originals

Needs a firmer latch as I had to bend the latch part out to obtain a latch of the cartridge needs to be more positive firmer stem

Great value for money, colour quality isn't as good as genuine HP, but if your just using them for general use they are great

I purchased these ink cartridges a little while ago, and replaced the colour cartridges shortly after purchasing.A couple of months down the line my black ink ran out, so I went to install the new cartridge. As soon as I removed the prange clip from the cartridge black ink leaked everywhere, staining my hands, desk, paperwork and carpet - I am seriously not impressed.To put the icing on the cake, I decided to try to make the most of the situation and install the cartridge in the printer, however I then received an error message stating that the cartridge was non-HP and blocked by the firmware.

Cartridges arrived quickly. I have been using this set to print over 70 A5 photos and they are still going well. I have attached 3 images of printed photos taken with my phone in daylight. The colours seem just like the screen images. In one case I am certain the colours are true because I painted the mountain scene and the bear lives at our house so I know what he looks like.The delivery was well packaged. The cartridges are easy to unpack and prepare for printing.The only caveat I would mention is that on my printer some of the colours need to be pressed home firmly to allow them to be recognised by the printer. Apart from that they have worked very well and I have not needed to perform any cleaning or nozzle checks since I installed them which is good considering the temperature in my studio this week. They start well first time every time.I consider them very good value and will be ordering replacements in due course.
