Excellent product and much easier to use than steel cable. Would definitely recommend.
Used for deer gimbrel at hunting camp to hoist up while waiting to transport for processing.

Great value!
Great product for the value! Haven't had to use it yet. But it's ready for when I do!

Fine little replacement, glad I did it.
This item wraps up well, and is a great improvement over the wire rope style I had before. The loop end is obvious in the picture, yet the other end is only taped down, which I wasn't quite used to. No special round ball like we had in the past on old wire cables either. All I did was a sort of webbed style wrapping before winding it around the winch. On mine (a basic Superwinch maybe 2000lbs), it goes through the spot in winch spooler, after a little convincing. If you want a decent way of spooling that isn't done at the factory, drop a comment below, i'm glad to help. It helped avoid crimping and knots.

Remove and replace the flat spring
Works good. But I had to remove the flat steel spring that held the original steel cable tightly against the windings around the drum.I recommend removing it because it is designed for steel cable only and can easily cut the synthetic cable if it gets to far to the side of the drum.I replaced this steel spring with a piece of flexiable plastic and it works great. I also put plastic spacers along 1 side the drum so the synthetic cable could not get pinched in either place. I had to do this because I intended to use the winch in situations where the synthetic rope would not always be taut. A steel cable cannot be used at all in a non taut conditions with out jamming. So the revision and purchase of this rope was well worth it for me.

Kinda pinkish salmon, going to return
I don't doubt that at one point in time this rope was actually read but it looks like it's been sitting in the sunlight for quite a while the strands are white throughout along with strands that are still red giving it a salmon appearance or pinkish I'm going to give a 3-star rating because I'm sure the Rope works fine but the color is important I know that these things do sunbleach after well but I'd rather it's sun-bleached in my possession then receiving one that is already lacking color

Perfect Setup
This is a perfect setup for my Warn winch. I got it extra heavy, since my SxS isn't lite weight..

Does the job
Lasted about 5 years and lots of pulls before it broke I have it on a Grizzly 700 with a 3500 winch tried a different brand ( Ranger) after it broke just to see how it compares too new to say on that one but I think 5 years is good for a low cost synthetic winch cable would buy again if the new one doesn't last.

Wonderful product.!
This is a very good product. Although it feels very light and seems like it would not be strong it sure is. I was able to winch my Argo 8x8 up out of a steep ditch where drifted snow had given way. Using the winch and driving we were able to easily get up the far side. This would not have been near to the limit of the Devil's Hair strength but it sure did what was needed.I would not use this to drag anything unless the line could be kept clear of abrasion.

Why are you still fighting with wire winch cables?
Excellent product! Arrived on time. I`ve been an avid ATVer for years and have constantly fought with cranky, nearly inflexible, prickly wire cables on the winches of the various vehicles I`ve owned over that time. Despite being a little leery of rope, when the cable on my side x side winch became hopelessly kinked and tangled once again I took the plunge. Install is simple and fast and no problems at all in a month now.Rope is much more sensitive to abrasion than cable of course, so make sure you use fairleads and don`t wrap your winch rope around anything, carry a web strap or piece of chain, etc. for that.

Way nicer than wire rope!
WAY nicer on my hands than the wire rope original.I have used it a fair bit with my ATV plow and similar winch rope on my work truck.I love that it doesn't have burrs and doesn't cut up my hands. It does however tend to bite through the lower layers of line and bind up on the spool. It also can soak with snow melt and freeze causing a bind. All said I like it Way better than cable!

I'm giving it five stars for now, will see what happens
The rope is as it says, "Light weight". It is quite different from the Warn synthetic rope - Warn is more fibrous, whereas this rope is pure synthetic like the stuff they use for marine applications. Time will tell if it stands up to heavy usage and repeat pulling. However, it is value priced, maybe I'll just carry the old Warn one just in case of breakage.
